In addition to what knowmad said, the rooms along the side of the main hall are too small for the larger enemies to get into so they make a good place to regroup and hide. I found this helpful for letting buffs recharge or just time to think. It's also helpful for splitting the enemies ranks and only having to deal with one at a time. Give it a try. I was surprised that the Hive Tyrant will just walk around aimlessly if he can't see your marines. Just don't stand in front of the doors. Hope this helps.
I use Touch ID so I haven't seen this, but yes that would piss me off to no end. Hope they fix it soon.
In fairness to rodeo, had they released that product at 20$ US on iOS it would have been met with crickets. "Most" iOS gamers won't go into games at >10 without extreme caution. For iOS success they launched with a perfect format in my opinion. PC gamers do not welcome micro transactions with open arms especially if they deem a beloved franchise such as Warhammer has been dumbed down to pay to win, even though its current iOS formula is no where near pay to win.
I'm trying to get over the implication that Game Center hasn't always been a bit broken. I very rarely get PC games these days - I work at my desk too much to want enjoy playing games at it. But I've just been experimenting with using remote software to play PC games on the iPad ... so now, all the sudden, I care about PC Deathwatch. Excuse me a moment ... surprise vague feeling of betrayal OUTRAGE! acceptance Okay, I think I'm caught up with the thread now.
Hahaha that was perfect! Welcome back to the thread Seriously, I agree with you, I don't want to play games in the same place I work [at home], that's why I love my iPad for gaming. Also, I can smoke as well, just have to take myself to the kitchen. But I'm interested, how are you playing remotely? With stuff like team viewer? And does it work alright? How do the touch controls translate?
Overcharged heavy plasmashot with 8 app and some dam and crit bonus = oneshots the 10k bosses most of the times At least if you have the tier 3+ heavy plasma
Yep, TeamViewer is what I'm trying ATM. Another major one I've yet to try is Splashtop. It's working well with most of the turn-based strategy titles I've tried, including X-COM. (Can't play without custom Long War mod!) RTS works very, very poorly and FPS is hopeless. My monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080. The key to making games playable was switching to 1280x960. (On a virtual desktop, actually.) Its 4:3 resolution matches the iPad - avoids "letterbox" that shrinks the screen and keeps text from becoming too distorted - and small - to be readable. I usually use TeamViewer's "mouse interaction" mode, where you have a cursor you control via touch - taps hit where the cursor is, not where your finger hits. Gets around the "What exactly is under my finger?" problem. This is all over a wireless LAN. Haven't tried over the internet. Another app called "Kinoconsole" works OK with FPS. I'm not really interested in anything outside turn based these days, but if I really wanted to play a FPS PC->iPad, I could. You set up the screen as a virtual gamepad. It also needs controller emulation software on the PC. The free Xpadder works.
I am just grinding away to get my last tier 4, the master of relics. I now have 7 lone wolves and 5 sang guard. Drew my first honour guard at the weekend. Do you know if the drops change to be weighted towards what you don't have? I do suddenly seem to draw several new things I don't have over several packs in a row after drawing the same cards I already have from tens of packs. I really want to try out the MoR and would replay with him on the team but if I don't get him soon I think I'm done with the game until they add new content
http://www.pcgamesn.com/making-it-in-unreal-why-rodeo-turned-down-necromunda-for-warhammer-40000-deathwatch I would do unspeakable things to play those 2 scrapped 'hulk' levels.... Realtime shadows are sooooooo pretty...
Hive guard = goodbye my entire squad and about 20k of xp! Damn..... (Actually the broodlord did a fair amount of it)
Eh I love the included maps, but while I played I always thought how cool it would be to be actually in an imperial space hulk (sp or mp). I think I even wrote that to you or someone else at Rodeo about that (can't really remember, I sent a million mails so I'm probably first in your spam filters). As much as I want...no....I NEED multiplayer now...I can't say I could enjoy it even if already out. I've been hit by that damn GC iOS 9 bug so I'm totally Gamecenter-less since some days. (15 pages and counting on Apple forums already about this...2 updates and still no clue by Apple). ((
Thank you for this, and for the tip on the resolution. Now, if I can play xcom 2 on my iPad I'll truly be a happy man
A weird and awesome thing just happened. I had a champion with Hunker Down get stuck in an endless retaliation loop with the Carnifex on 4.4 Heroic. He managed to inflict over 8000 damage before falling. Is this a common occurence?
