I consistently find that Litany of Endurance doesn't do anything to any of my units. It's frustrating because it would be a very powerful item if it worked. But I have try it many times and it does not change the health of any of my unit. Has anyone else experienced this bug?
The single thing I'm most looking forward to is the Space Wolf Tactical Champion getting his "missing" abilities. No pressure, but for every day that goes by without them the Inquisition kills an extra 1000 psykers.
This is my first Rodeo game and I LOVE IT!!!! Is this the best turn by turn game on the iphone out there?
If you love this, you'll also love Rodeo's other games Hunters and Hunters 2. Very similar concept and mechanics. Just not the Warhammer 40K setting and units. They also have Warhammer Quest which is a similar concept but done within a fantasy setting. XCom is also a great game on the iPhone. It's also a turn based squad strategy game.
Thanks! I did download xcom last week and love it, but the danged thing keeps freezing on me. i did update toios9 on my iphone 6 so maybe it's that that's causing the problems and i have to wait for things to resolve themselves through updates? anyways, until that happens, warhammer seems to be working just fine. i'll check out quest and the hunters too!
Trust me, Deathwatch will keep you busy for many days (weeks) to come. I bought it the day it was released and I just finished the game on Heroic yesterday. There aren't many games that make me want to play them through three times in a row, but this was one of them.
Quick question. In missions where you have to get to an extension point or get to a certain area are the unlimited amounts of enemies that spawn? Like, could I stand and kill all the enemies before moving to the extraction point? Or do I have to move toward the extraction point while killing enemies. If they are unlimited amounts then I should get there ASAP, but if there is a fixed amount of bad guys then I could kill them all.
Glad you enjoyed it. I wish we had more data on, how long each mission took, how many attempts they took etc. I think the stats would be interesting.
I *NEVER* replay story based games and Deathwatch was the only one I played 3 times in a row the same campaign at different difficulties and immensely enjoyed it for about 80 hours or so. It's that great. I took a bit of a pause from the game waiting for multiplayer and now I'm SO READY to go back to my squad. As I'm not into grinding at all I wish new content or randomized levels or something else would come sooner than later, to start trying out new squad config and level up cool marines I unlocked.
Been grinding on same level for 20-25 hours trying to get a tier lV marine, saving requisition points and buying packs. Haven't gotten one yet. Should I proceed in the game? The drop rate seems sooooo low in these packs I've opened so many packs and haven't gotten a tier lV. I have two tier 3 marines.....
My experience is that the enemies don't move around a lot until you start. I have tried to sit and wait for them to come to me without much success. I think the enemies don't know you're there until you start shooting at them or they can see you. Also, their movements seem to be connected to and changed by your current phase in the level. Such as in 2.2, they start of with one pattern then that pattern changes when you have placed both bombs on the bridges.
Is anyone else experiencing a problem with the Litany of Endurance? It doesn't do anything to any of my units. I have try it many times and it does not change the health of any of my units. RodeoMatthew has anyone else reported this bug?
I would suggest moving on. The drop rate is low and when you find what you're looking for it will be by luck. It could be in the next pack or 50 packs later. Additionally you will just "need" to grind again to level that marine once you've found it. Low level marines don't fare well in higher levels. In the meantime you have more game you are missing out on. All the grinding is okay to a point but unnecessary from what I've been reading here. I did a lot of grinding and I started to get upset about "all the grinding required". Turns out it isn't required unless you just want to stay ahead of the difficulty so you die less and loss less xp.
I would also suggest that you really don't NEED Tier 4. They are nice to have but you can definitely make it through with all Tier 3 units. I have played through 3 times and bought a lot of packs and yet I only have three Tier 4 units.
Definitely. I'd say you need experienced tier 3 or 4 marines only for Heroic, and on Normal tier barely matters. I've found a lot of replay value in running different combinations of marines through the campaign. (Not to say I wouldn't dearly love more maps.)
Still having defeat issues Hey guys-- Been on 3-2 now for a day and 4 times in a row once I beat it it says defeat instead of victory.... Lost all xp the first time, just been going from 0 to 0 again after each win, since victory is an instant defeat.... who can i send this too? Thanks!
I just experienced the opposite - I had activated two check points, then quit the app to do something else, when I started the app it says victory and I got all XP and stuff without ever really finishing that level (on heroic)...
Where is everyone farming Requistiion? I remember some are using Stim packs and clearing levels in a single turn
