Got a weird bug last night... a hive tyrant (the kind with 90% damage reduction in the front cone) was meleeing a dual wielder of mine. He took 50+ swings at me before he died. Thankfully I had activated my 100% damage reduction wargear so in the end, my ripostes killed him and ended this cycle. Took forever and was hilarious... but yeah... bug reported.

Well the Multiplayer patch contains some stuff, other fixes, balancing changes, Fast Forward button. After that, there is going to be another patch, which contains some cool stuff. Sounds weird to say the least.
Btw it took me ages to realise that you can actually see from which fields he gets the blocking bonus by tapping on him...
I would still like to know the attack range of the various enemies. I try to keep in cover all the time because I have no idea what is safe...
Fast forward button! Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. I've never minded waiting through enemy turns on the first go around, but it makes grinding a bit of a chore. Especially when you spend most of their turn staring at your own guys just standing there doing their little shuffle dance and looking bored. This will be a welcomed addition to this incredibly awesome game. Thanks again.
Hurray for balance, fast forwarding, AND cool stuff!! From my observations and memory, termagants, Warriors, and pyrovores all have range 5, Tyrant Guard have range 7, and I honestly am not sure about hive tyrants, but I'd guess 5 or 6 on them. Any confirmation or dispute would be most welcome
Naw, I've tried this. Doesn't work. It just reloads back to the enemy's turn and then remains stuck as before. And as far as waiting (as another commenter mentioned) I left it sitting on my desk for 10 minutes straight. Notta. But I'll take offer of sending over the save file when I have a chance.
And will there be a "campaign reset" button? I'll explain. I have completed heroic mode and collected some new marines that i want to play now. They are all ultramarines and have 0 experience. It is vary difficult to make a new full run (from normal to heroic) on the campaign because it is already completed. Also there are some bugs: 1) i have made a new full of wolf party and noticed that there are no conversations between them. The conversations appear only between different marine fractions. 2) "Glory of Guilliman" does not decrease accuracy (-10%) for one turn - it decreases the accuracy on all turns after usage. I have used 3 of such abilities and hardly completed the mission because got -30% accuracy until it's end. 3) Random Generator works vary strange. My devastator have 32% crit but i have crit only about every 10-th shot. My melee marines have 52% crit and i am vary glad if i see crit. It appears about every 4-th or 5-th strike.
Why can you not just run through it on the lowest difficulty? The only difference being that you won't get a free pack every four missions.
Does anyone find the game a bit imbalanced once you fully level up a Long Fang Devastator and a Lone Wolf. I have two fully leveled LWs and two Long Fangs and they make short work of everything on Heroic (I'm on mission 9.3 now). The Long Fangs with an 8 AP overcharged Plasma shot generally one-shot even the largest of tyranids. The fifth squad slot generally just goes to any Marine that I want to give easy XP. Anything that the Long Fangs don't polish off is killed quickly by the Lone Wolfs with their hits that are basically auto-crits. The game was much more challenging when I just had a mixed group that contained some non-space wolves, especially on Veteran level. It seems like the damage output for these two is off the chart compared to all the other Marines I have (although I don't have a Master of Relics yet).
You can also try this- Run the game. When it's hanging, put thumb and four fingers on screen. Pinch together- screen shrinks and app starts to close. Release- screen expands and app starts again (iPad Air). Mess around doing this a few times. You can often kick it out of the loop.
Re: Campaign reset A possible improvement would be marking either the scenario played most recently, or the one after it. Just to help players keep track of where the are on the nth run-through.
Is there any word on when patch 1.3 will be released? I can't progress beyond the Mind of the Beast level in Act 2 due to the game hanging up on the Hive Guard's turn. I'm playing on an iPhone 5s. I've tried the various methods described to "get past" the hang up, but none have worked for me. I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall, which required starting over and losing time. Thankfully, I hadn't purchased any card packs on my first playthrough as that would have been money wasted. I'd love to be able to actually play this game... Note that I am a fan of Rodeo Games and love their work, and I understand that making a game like this "bug free" takes work. Note also, I loved Warhammer Quest and happily bought extra content since these developers are worth supporting financially in my view. (Yes I registered for the forum just to ask about this.)
Have you tried taking your marines to the right and up to the checkpoint that way instead of straight up at the start? For some reason this seems to avoid the hang.
load a saved game tying to load a saved game but cant drop the folder in....it wont let me if i add the save file only it doesnt work either any advice?
@ortanius it hangs as the camera is trying to show the marine being shot at which is off screen. I zoom out fully and rotate camera 90 degrees before I move out, that way when guard fires marine is in camera shot. Also if it's stuck, you can force close app and restart then when you it restart pinch to zoom out and rotate camera. Need to be fast to get it to correct position before guard takes the shot. May take a few attempts.
