I have this item for quite a while now,must be from a card pack (but i can't remember exactly) even if i opened a couple of hundreds less than other people.Congrats on completing the codex.How do you feel now?Empty or satisfied?
From a pack. I don't think it's possible to find it from a mission. Feel relieved that I don't have to keep searching lol. I was missing that one item for a very long time. Which sucks because it's a very useful item.
Really like the game but haven't drawn a tier 4 marine in 40 packs - frankly I really hate the pack system
I didn' t had much use of it for now (but i'm only on act 7 of heroic),equipped it just one or two times,i prefer to have 2 T3 medipacks in my party. 25% is not THAT much after all.
Yea it's not that much, but it's nice to be able to heal without being next to a unit. Good for super mobile squads like a Lone Wolf squad which also has no health regen abilities.
The drop rate for T4 heroes was like 7-8% before the update. Seems a bit worse now but you should have gotten one by now. Most likely you have a slew of them coming up.
yeah,i rarely play with assaults and try to keep my party close together,that makes a difference of course. But i got my first T4 powerfist now (xenos crusher) ,what a beast.I might give it a try Wish i would have a T4 assault though (besides my apothecary)
I actually seem to be getting better T4 marines. Prior to patch I had a Master of Relics. Since patch added a Lone Wolf, Long Fang and Sanquinary. All this in the middle of Veteran. Keep going back to 1.4 and 2.2 for experience for the new marines.
I have a master of relics too since early on and that's it. I am in act 6 of veteran - I have mixed feelings about the pack system. Also if I get a t4 I am not sure how I feel about getting him ready to fight... Don't want to grind. Also it seems like a waste having all these tier 1 marine types fleshed out, at least for single player - I mean does anybody have a use for a tier 1 marine, even when you start out? Guess they are for multiplayer.
You don't really need to grind much to beat the game on Heroic and that's already a lot of value for 5 bucks. If you want to complete the codex or create an exact group that you want to play with then be prepared to grind. I don't mind how they've done the F2P, but I think the pack RNG should be tweaked: - remove useless T1 items that marines already come equipped with - bump up the drop rate for T4 marines back to pre update - give more packs for IAP cost because atm it's a terrible deal with 50% of packs being T2 or lower
Thanks for the comments re the tier 4s - hoping more come soon! Just drew the space wolf tactical champion, he has fewer abilities than all the other champs, is that intended?
He's ultra powerful, so I guess it's to counterbalance that. He still is my second best marine (just after the lone wolf). And definitely my most used. Once he's leveled up, he's a fast runner if you get you hands on a TIV frostbite bolter and a tremendous killing machine with the Kraken TIV flamer. I've pulled a second one and am leveling him up so I can start with two of them. You'll have fun with him Btw I finished Act VII heroic with my lone wolf squad (long fang ancient and lone wolf, tactical and devastator champion, tactical TII). Once your party is fully developed, having 3 items per marine really helps a lot In heroic. The more problematic enemies are the 30% regen + no crit ones. A bit wary before starting act VIII as I have some bad memories of it in veteran. I'll try not to have too much XP banked.
I noticed that too. I've been continuing to use my tier 2 tact in hopes of drawing a wolf guard replacement, but no luck so far :-/ guess i just don't want to lose 3 items and 100% accuracy on my frostbite especially since I'm just starting chapter 3 of heroic
Yeah, you're better off going as far as you can in Heroic with the squad you brought to it. If you stall part way, then you can go back and grind level a higher tier addition to the squad.
kinda funny that since the update i got absolute nothing out of packs anymore (only the bare minimum like a useless T2 gear,a T1 marine and another T1 whatever) but getting always T4 items (at least) after a mission on heroic. Still hoping for a Lone wolf or long fang ancient...someday.

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I swear I'm swimming in t4's now, just not the marines I want my wolf guard and a master of relics!
At least The wolf guard and the master of relics are in my collection Although the wolf gard is currently still collecting dust until i finish the heroic campaign.Have to level him up on another playthru.But the MoR with the doom of behemoth is my most important fighter (along with another T3 UM devastator).
I lay awake at night, dreaming of plasma cannons with more than 6 range that don't overheat. And the marine who can properly weird it. I don't even care that he wouldn't fit in with the rest of the space wolf team or benefit from sagas of the iron wolf. At least they'd all chitchat again again lol. The item high on my wish list is a medusa (or two) for my lone wolf. I've been using a combo of ursa's word for pistol sniping and the tier 3 infernus pistol for up close dmg.
