They're right. This does raise the question of what you (rodeo) intend to do to put this right. Edit: If you're not happy and want to deal with it yourself you can, if you live in the EU, get a refund on any iAp you've made. Only within 14 days.
Wherever you are you can get a refund within 90 days - just go to the e-mail invoice from Apple with the purchase on it, click report a problem, then fill out what your problem is (sadly there is a character limit, my multi-page rants never fit and I have to trim them down ). I've got a response and refund within a few hours before. Over 90 days you can't see your purchases that way any more (when you follow the link on the e-mail it doesn't work), so I don't know what you do in that situation.
oh my god, oh my god, oh my god That last level, oh my god, oh god, oh man. Wow. AND I got the Rite of Ultramar from the pack from beating it. Rodeo, oh Rodeo, wherefore art thou, Rodeo? -edit- Just read the 1.2 patch post, I'm pumped. Know why? Because I'm not a complainer, and I understand exactly how hard it is to make a quality digital product. Rodeo could have just said "bug fixes" for 1.2, and left it at that. But they make a conscious decision to engage with and be open to the end user. Now, you, the end user, have a responsibility too. That pretty much starts and ends with not being a jerk online. Now, I'm going to go home, update the game, and buy some more packs.
Actually you're very wrong. Life doesn't work like that. When you f-up you take responsibility and make it right. Especially if you're a business. Especially if it involves taking money for something not working as advertised / sold. Personally, I'm not interested in claiming a refund. But I do believe in doing what's right by your customers.
Hi, Thanks for the update. With 1.3 is coming near iOS 9 release time... Will it be compatible with iOS 9? (I'm not installed on beta before anyone gets twitchy just heard some reports it doesn't work on 9 and I'd like to install it and still be able to play) Thanks
Not interested in a flame war at all, but they are making it right. Humans are not infallible, and humans are the ones who create the software. Lemme ask you one quick question though: How much do you know about random numbers in software? Because they are a subject of great debate, as evidenced by this discussion.
Thanks very much for the 1.2 update @Rodeo. Also thanks for keeping the community informed along the way. For only €5 I am getting incredible value out of it. Fully intend to buy 30 packs next time I get paid as a small gesture of support for your studio. Also note to self don't use whirlwind near a mine in 8.2 just out of laziness to kill the last genestealer it didnt end well! doh!
I agree, and I think that Rodeo is thinking about doing this, though I'm disappointed it wasn't announced along with the bug fix. Unfortunately I don't think the game was built with any method of compensation in mind. I'm not sure how it wouldbe done. Players who purchased cards have given the most to Rodeo, and in turn really should be compensated in some way. ( speaking from the point of view of a fellow developer)
I'm not expert. I know a little. I also spent hours and hours trying to figure out what was going on with this game because I knew something was wrong but everyone else was quick to dismiss what I was saying (degree in computer engineering, always will be curious to solve a problem). I believe I was the first person to point it out to Rodeo, on here, that there's something wrong with the RNG. Despite being told I was wrong a couple of times. I got my own and a couple of friends' save games out of the loop too. I'm not out to start a riot or arguments or gather an angry mob (I won't be claiming any refunds, as I've still enjoyed my time playing). But I do believe in owning up when other people's time and money is on the line - it's basic respect for your customers as people. Sometimes just holding your hands up is enough to return the respect of a gaming community.
You just can't. Since you buy packs that give you random cards and the random "seed" is reset with every new install, you couldn't get back the same cards even if there was a "restore purchase" button. Since this game has no iCloud support, there's only one way to save your content: having game version 1.1 or above and backing up the save game folder through iTunes file sharing (the section where you see the apps on your device and you're given the option to backup or restore their files). Unfortunately, that's something you had to do BEFORE uninstalling, so right now everything you bought is gone for good, I'm sorry :/
A lot of things have ticked me off in this game but I won't talk about them. All I know is that if you promised PVP and instead delivered on fixing RNG issues, without truly addressing the ramifications of that issue, and bug fixes, you could have at least fixed this ridiculous inventory problem. It is so flipping annoying trying to sell gear when the game locks up constantly. Get that fixed
Anyone else getting total crap from packs after the update? 30 out of 40 packs had nothing higher than T2. No T4 hero in 40 packs.
New release... So my current save game still hangs during the enemy turn. Should this release have fixed that? This 'save' has gone from a full on crash, that in the previous release turned into a hang, and in this release has stayed as a hang. Was really hoping that I wouldn't need to go through the rigmarole of backing up my save and hoping that support might fix it. I guess I will now have to. Andy.
