The iOS version came out last month, PC version came out last year.

I'm intrigued, but I'm also wondering what differentiates this from XCOM?

This reminds me of space hulk! But with more depth and less board game style.

Why no iCloud Drive support? It should be common sense to include it. Apple should make it compulsory to include iCloud saves!!!

It was on Steam last year.

I forgot about Squad Command but I didn't have a PSP. There was another game, maybe a version of Squad Command, for the Nintendo DS. I couldn't get into it but I'm not sure that was the fault of the game and more about how turn-based strategy on the DS never quite spoke to me.

Insta bought this morning. So amazing, I'm already addicted. Love the collection / loot aspect. Progress is there to, leveling is great. Beautiful atmosphere and visuals. What a gem.

Xcom, for starters, has elevation bonuses & a cover system.

So could it possible to add in iOS7 compatibility?
I can understand if not, just wondering if it is a thing that may happen.

The DS version was a hideous, albeit functional, port of the PSP game. What I liked was that units weren't constrained to a grid. It was closer to how a tabletop game goes; almost like a ruler.

So I almost wanted to cry foul on the IAP mechanic but since it appears you can earn credits in missions to buy packs, just one at a time, it doesn't seem so bad.

I like that if I want to show some additional support I can go that route, otherwise it's a little more grindy getting new marines. We'll see how much it bothers me going forward.

Was flipping through the Codex and saw it basically shows everything there is but also what you have unlocked. It's pretty nifty and I've seen the mechanic in other games and always liked it.

A lot of people are saying this is Hunters but since I never played Hunters it is all new to me.

Any plans for adding a fast forward button, like in WHQ? Rodeo games tend to be on the slow side, and enemy turns can be a slog without a speed up button.

    @RodeoMatthew

Will you guys add mifi controller support?

I mean it's free - why wouldn't you? Why not reach all the spectrums within the iOS community while the game is "still hot" and on the tips of people's tongues.

Do you not want iOS TV gamers to play your game on a nice 60' to 80' TV? Do you not want such footage being uploading onto YouTube showing off your game?

Bravo for the ISO view. Now add Mifi controller support dude - so I can support you and your company by purchasing your game.

When you add mifi - I'll support the cause. If not... oh well. Lose my money and the 7 other people I run ios tourneys with. Still wish you success.

Quick question, how many enemy types are there? I'd hate to spend 20 hours cycling through the same three enemy sprites.

How i like those "hey,u know i like you but you are an asshole if you don't put my request in ASAP and i plus 7 (uh...seven) others won't buy it."

THAT's how you place feature requests:with a lot of pressure behind.

    not

@topic: played half a dozen missions so far and it's obviously a hunter game with a new skin.BUT with a very beauty new skin (love the Iso view) and i don't see a problem with beeing a new game like hunter,i liked them a lot and i think this here is easily the best"hunter"now.

I also don't get why people think it's not polished enough.Seriously,i don't know what some people expect for 5 bucks...For myself,i think it's very polished and the menus and stuff are great, much better than in hunter.I find them always confusing in the past.

First suggestion:there could be a better indicator of which marine is currently active.Maybe the action points/health bar arround that certain marine in a slightly different colour.

Totally agree. Strange way to ask to add something to a game

Anyway it runs great on my iPhone 6 and I love the way you can change the view. Makes the figures look like small lead figures being all 3d etc. love it. Great value

Can you elaborate on this concept, please?
You say it's free. Did you see the source code for this game? Have you already written code adapting the game to support mfi controllers?
It's not a flag in the compiler options to set "activate MFi controller support". Some coding is needed, not considering the Q&A sessions to discuss how to implement controls, how to map different controller layouts, etc.
It's not something you just spend 5 seconds coding and it's done.
All this means development time, which costs money.
So, please, explain how is it "free", because I don't get it right now.

10, we only missed a few tyranids out because they didn't really fit.
