!!! No wonder people moan about the enemy turn being too long!!! Try to zoom in frontal on your squad, better if ready for action like over watch...then enjoy the show!!! You can even see the shells of the bolters. And while idle everyone does a different thing sometimes. I actually wish I could zoom a bit more.
Your entire squad with plasma rifles looks like small christmas tree. Too bad i hate plasma because of overheating
"Haha, I almost like you, brother" The first time I played on Heroic most of the kill team had only T3 weapons. But they were still bubbling about aiming for the neck and being able to kill a Tyranid with one or two shells!
Question: Is Act 7.1 Heroic the only place that I can get a tier 4 powerfist that's either neutral or UM? (other than a lucky pack) Feeling like my Honor Guard isn't hitting hard enough (and therefore opening himself up to lots of counter attacks) on Heroic play through...

This game just gets better, and when you lose a guy with loads of XP it doesn't make you want to rage quit, but it makes me want to kick even more Xenos ass! The update is fantastic, and coincided with me starting to play through veteran, seems that the loot is better, and my 10 pack investment netted two master of relics the Murder bolter and doom of behemoth. Amazing game guys, and a big thanks to the posters on this thread for their insight and tips
Inventory crashing Just an FYI I am getting crash after crash while selling items out of inventory. Game freezes and I have to close out. Hopefully this can be addressed in a future patch or give us the ability to sell all of a particular type of item. Or, when selling a marine, give us the option to sell their gear along with them. Hugely annoying but not game breaking.
This used to happen to me; I force closed the app (all apps, really) and rebooted my device. After rebooting and relaunching the app, the issue never came back. Hopefully it helps. If not, sorry!
Would be nice if i could completely unload wargear from the slots for a better overview what is currently"really"in use or not.It's a bit painful to double and tripplecheck everything (especially fi quite a few marines have 2-3 slots already unlocked)
Yeah, squad management is brutal overall. Just having to check xp level, gear, what you have where. If you want to change loadouts, say from a squad focused on short burst, high damage output versus consistent, swarms of enemies, area of effect damage output, or you want to switch who is carrying what, it's a pain in the wazoo. I could manage it through a third party solution (including pencil and paper!), but it would be nice if I could just do it in game a little bit more conveniently. But it's a minor quibble.
I have to say I really love this game. I have played through the game on normal and am going through it on veteran. I have gotten to level 2-3, where you first encounter the hive guard and have gotten my first experience with the game locking on the "enemy moving" turn. I am playing on an iPad Air, and tried pinching to zoom at the title screen but to no avail.
Anyone else having issues since update? I can't play Deathwatch since updating the app today. I am unable to select a marine by clicking on them. Everything seems very sluggish also. Seems like my iPad 3 is over burdened. I tried closing the app, closing all apps, and rebooting which doesn't help. I wouldn't think an iPad 3 would have issues running this game? It ran fine before the update.
The first line in the game description says an iPad 3 isn't supported. I first played the game on an iPad 3. Got to Act 9 and was having some difficulties, so decided to grind on Act 2-1 and Act 2-2 to level some more powerful new marines up. The bug where the game locks up on the enemy turn appeared. I emailed Rodeo games and they pointed out the iPad 3 wasn't supported. So I switched to my iPhone 6+. There have been a number of complaints from people with iPhone 5's and iPad 3s on this thread that updating made the game unworkable for them. I'm sorry you're having this experience.
Put Kraken's Breath on him, and it's a wrap. The first t4 I found, and I don't see myself ever subbing him out.
