Warbits (Advance Wars clone - coming 2014)

Any news for the gameplay?

 

Don't think I've played advanced wars but is this similar to Uniwar? Also a few others I can't remember the name of right now.

Looks interesting though.

 

Wow, totally can't wait for this one. I love turn-based-strategy games. Currently going through Hunters 2, but need more more more.

Uniwar was very similar to Advance Wars so you should be right at home.

I just think the graphics could be wayyyy better in this game, I mean this is almost 2015 amiright!? Anyway game looks mediocre right now - but you should add Andy the main character from advanced wars and people will definitely buy it. also can you just make the game free? i mean if you leave it free then add drm a year from release you can still make money.

Obviously you're trolling. Care to explain how this game looks mediocre?? Yeah it does not have the most advanced graphics, but neither was Advance Wars. Like Advance Wars, it was all about the style and presentation over pushing graphical boundaries. There's no battle sequence like AW but most of my friends always skips those anyways to speed up the gameplay, which I assume is RiskyLabs reason for omitting it. The mech and robot designs are slick and well animated. If you seen the recent video RiskyLabs posted recent with two AI against each other, the AI of Warbits looks far more intelligent and brutal compared to any of the AI from the Advance Wars games. Consider me a day 1 buyer!

I'm totally throwing down for this game. Advance wars is my ultimate favourite game, and ever since that and Fire emblem it's been my fav genre of game - turn based strategy is my thing lol. So I don't care if it's 10 bucks I'm all in. Never mind the haters.
