Is it really that unacceptable if you're unable to find others with the same issue? To me, that sounds like a pretty rare bug (you're not running this on a jailbroken phone, right?), so it would be entirely reasonable that the developers have yet to find the cause and fix it. I finally got three heroes going at the same time, and it's crazy how much that can boost your lifespan in the game. I went from dying quickly in the early 80s to level 100 without a single death. Unfortunately, I got sniped on L100W10, so I'm just short of that next goal. Still on G9, so I won't be too sad about jumping to the next gen soon since that means a new support unit type!
Next Generation Does anyone know if moving to the next generation increases your base health at all, or does it just increase global damage and starting cash? Also, does the Add New Perk eventually increase in level when you move to the next generations? Currently I get level 1,2, and 3 perks. wondering if it's worth moving up a bunch of generations to get better stuff like that.
Not sure about the health, the free one gives you a 1-3 level perk. It's % I think increases based off your max level. I usually use my tokens on the level 10 instant so idk for regular ones you can buy
Game Improvements So I've been playing this game pretty much since it came out, and I've put in more hours than I care to admit, or I should say my phone has put in the hours, I just let it auto-battle most of the time. Issues I see: Mining tower value upgrades: I guess I wasn't paying attention during the precap L10 perk bonanza, but I'm only getting +322 per orb for each mining tower upgrade (my Packrat is at level 167), so at tower level 63 i'm pulling in 17K for each orb. To increase the orbs value bt +322 to 17,322 the next upgrade will cost me 17,000,000. Which means to recoup my 17M investment on the +322 for each orb, I need to gather 52,795 orbs!!! I figure I get about 20 orbs per minute, so it'd take 48 hours of gameplay to pay for itself. It would make more sense if each tower upgrade also increased the value of the next tower upgrade, rather than each upgrade yielding the exact same +322... support Unit health: It would be nice to have the option to upgrade the health of the support units aside from just the Mouse Assault Squad. I have to run with one eyed general to try to regen the guys on the field as frequently as possible. Next generation: Initially I was regenerating frequently, and got to the 44th generation. I'm now on level 1700 and haven't regenerated since generation 44. It seems that the only benefit of regenerating is to increase damage and starting money, but I don't have an issue with those stats at the moment, so I'm not seeing any need to regenerate. Now for the big one... I'm struggling to understand the point of the game once you reach about level 1000. For me, once I hit 1000 the game became a challenge to reach the top of the leader board, which is basically a game of who can leave their device on the longest as there isn't really any skill to differentiate the people at the top. I see about 8 people with the same strategy, everyone seems to be running their devices around 18-22 hours a day, just to get to the top of the leaderboard. So it seems I'm currently the 3rd best in the world at leaving my phone on. BTW I'm totally confused on how the first place guy who reached level 2000 was able to do so by April 30th when the game only came out on April 27th, it's basically impossible to do unless initially there was a glitch in the 'skip to level N after every next generation' perk. I'm really struggling with any ideas on how to improve it though. If I ever reach 1st place on the leaderboard, I'll stop playing so the guys below me can have a turn at the top... The first week of playing was pretty fun though.
I'm 99% I'm not getting any more money perks which is a shame. I'm just going to save my tokens now since I'm just wasting them on dmg I don't need. Last 75 tokens not 1 money perk in any instant 10 or free perks :/
No, to increase base health you have to get a health perk. Yes, when you move to the next gen you got bonus on overall damage and starting money which is base on how far you can progress in your current gen, and you have to be at least 35th gen to unlock all support units too. I'm quite sure that free perk will randomly get you lvl 1-3 perk each time which cannot be increase. but the damage perk you are getting will increase based on your highest wave, the more the better.
Yep, this is no ending game after all. when you know everything about the game, It's become pointless to play except to competitive with online ranking, which mean you'll lost tons of time to enjoy other things and let the ipad eating your battery for days.
Yea, no money perk for me too. But I don't care anymore, I'm going to move on to find other things to enjoy. Gen: 35 Wave: 462 Perk: 763% money earned (115957 earned per orb with packrat, lvl 61 upgrade) 1395% health (1510k hp full upgrade) Heroes: lvl 127 Packrat lvl 59 Rabbit lvl 63 Crab F2P user, Start to play since heros patch comeout. Now I quit.
I'm fifth and my phone is on all day and night most days hahahah the guy in 1st was a plant or tester or on the dev team cause the list was populated before it started and those player that were already there have not gone up a level since the start.
Your post was the kick in the butt I needed to stop playing this game I had only been continuing to plug away at it because Forsaken had said there was an ending, but, assuming they weren't just stretching the truth or worse, there may as well not be an ending, and that makes this into a giant ass waste of time. Once you hit that tipping point where your upgrades will effectively out pace the enemies indefinitely, the game is objectively worse than the clickers that inspired this unique mashup of a game, because at least those continue to play themselves when your device isn't on. Leaving a device on - a device that can play music, movies, display books, websites, text, email, etc. to progress upwardly in a game where you don't do anything, where the enemies never change, and who's endpoint is evidently so far outside of the realm of sanity as to be functionally non existent just seems stupid raised to infinity. With me being more than a thousand levels away from you, and only getting through ~5 levels a day with the amount of play I put in, that's sometime well into 2017 to NOT be at the end lol. Had a good time reaching this point, found the mashup more interesting than most of their recent titles, but feel like the concept could have baked a little longer. Oh well, Adventure Company will be out soon enough and haven't even tried H&C2 since the big update.
This is not true. The devs said near the beginning of this thread that there actually IS an ending. They didn't state what level it is or what happens at the end. But They said specifically there IS an ending. Billy
There may technically be an ending, but there might as well be no ending, which was, I believe, their point. How much of the game takes some care and strategy? Maybe, if you're being generous, the first 300 levels. Then we see people posting about being 1500+ levels beyond thatÂ… and still no end. People are just plugging in a device and leaving it churning through waves for 18+ hours a day, every day to reach these levels AND THERE IS STILL NO ENDING. Whatever ending there might be, no one with two brain cells to rattle together will ever see it unless it's on YouTube.
I'll get there eventually hehehe my thing is where is Foursaken? They haven't posted in a long time. I still want the sparrows to be fixed. Billy
Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and say we are still monitoring the thread! We had a nice family vacation over the past week, hence the lack of communication. We're hoping to get a nice little update out in the next few weeks with some new content, game speed toggle, and some other things. Re: sparrows, the only thing that was changed is that when they dont have a target, they stay near your tortoise instead of flying off into the horizon. Its still the same thing though: if they dont have a target, they wont shoot... which means if you're blasting enemies so fast that they can't acquire a target, then you dont need their DPS anyway.
Hey forsaken can you explain why I have not been able to get any money bonuses anymore. I'm at 267% with the double money bonus and generation 27 level 660
This is probably to much to ask but it would be nice addition to semi target you units like set mouse gunner squad to shoot mid range or long range so they shoot more of a variety of enemies. I say this because most of the time it seems like all my units are shooting the same one enemy. Where as the wave would end faster if they could choose different targets. Not sure if this made very much sense.
Then why are all of my troops dying or even most are dead but they are still flying around the tortoise? How is it every other unit has a target except the sparrows? I'm not the only one saying this. I'm not the only one seeing this. Billy
