    I have slow downs on an iPad air 1 as well

    They really peak when a hero levels up

    Now that I'm on level 544 it's a slide show.

    I wish this game had everyplay. I'd upload a video just to show the sparrows circling and the slideshow slowdowns while playing.

    While the update really was amazing in terms of what was added, and honestly this game is in my running for game of the year, here are the major issues I'm experiencing and others are reporting. Could you please respond if you are aware of them and will fix them? Any response would be immensely appreciated. I've spent over $40 in this game. That shows you how much I love it and enjoy it.

    1) sparrow squadron circling non stop and not targeting. My troops are all dead and dying and they just circle. I submitted pictures in this thread showing the behavior and many others have also reported it. Their behavior needs to be changed and made to be aggressive and stay down range not over the tortoise non stop

    2) immense slow downs to the point the game is so choppy it's a slide show. It's pretty bad. I'm using an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.2. The problem is worse when a general levels up or waves change.

    3) the immensely long beetle assault waves. Today level 535 wave 4 took over 35 minutes. 35 minutes. I timed it. One wave. It's too long. Can this please be addressed?

    4) bosses. They are no challenge whatsoever. They die instantly.

    5) search for generals all over down field while manually fighting is difficult. We need 3 buttons on the left side to activate the generals special attacks/abilities.

    What am I missing people? Please add what I'm missing.

    If I were to make a request I would request we be allowed a 4th active general. I'd be willing to pay for it. My dream team would have one eye, the healer, crack shot squirrel, and packrat.

    Personally I think a 4th general would hurt balance too much. I WANT one, but it's gotta be hard balancing content with all the power creep going on.

    Honestly I think the two core issues are

    1) Optimization- game churns through battery and has slowdown, but honestly I think it's just hardware limitations... Game is freakin gorgeous! Maybe option to turn off explosions and coins?

    2) the swarmer waves. Like you said, beetle waves for me can be 10+ minutes, and they're not uncommon.

    IMO those are the primary issues and the rest is window dressing. Lotta good fixes and content releases so far, and those two above (swallow, bosses, hero buttons aren't game breaking IMO) would remove the major frustrations holding us back from enjoying the rest of the awesomeness.

    I watched a whole episode of House of Cards on level 797 wave 7 beetle swarm. They're 50 min episodes. I have mad power but they show up too slow or my guys are firing to slow, it's just really damn slow.

    Did anyone notice the bosses are severely gimped in the latest release.. Seriously the moment I click on call boss it dies the moment it steps on the ground or on air...I mean like wow message popped up 4 extra tokens

    Yeah, bosses are super weak. They need urgent updating...something like giving them 1000 times more health.

    I'm not as far as others on this forum, but most of my deaths are from long range kills and being over-whelmed by those long-range units. I wish I died more from the larger melee enemies and I mean having the boars and chameleons etc having way more health so there is danger of them getting me. These big units should be worrying the player when they appear, rather than those dots on the horizon.

    Still love the game and happily still sinking hours into this, just needs a little more tweaking.

    What makes them super weak is all your forces are shooting at one enemy at once. In a regular wave your strongest units may attack weaker units instead of the strongest. Put a wave of other enemies with the boss and now you have a threat.
    Also bosses will only be hard if they're above your max level

    The bosses I fight are more then 30 levels higher then my max and they still die instantly. I did have a chameleon boss last long enough I got to see it but most are just a message saying I got credits

    I was at level 66 the boss was 90.. I killed it in less than 2 secs.

    I am not complaining they give free tokens.
    I would love if they are fixed to make to more frequently and much much stronger same payout.. Or if the same frequency double or triple the tokens.. But make it super challenging. Like you built up everything just to counter the boss.. Not the 2 secs-i-cant-see-you-drop-dead bosses...

    I had 100 levels above me die instantly, beetles and Zeppelin both crit it. A 20x crit is no joke plus everything else shooting at it is probably another 200,000million+

    Crits are kinda silly in this game.

    8x multipliers is pretty nuts.

    Level 200 now, feeling a little stale now. Hope they can address the boss fights to make them epic and a bit of a challenge.

    Not unlocked war tortoise yet, only 27th gen at the moment. But can't see myself starting over. Am just playing once or twice a day now. Getting decent away cash and doubling with vid watch. Accumulating tokens from bosses and also the odd away token too.

    Despite the bosses dying quickly, I have to say this game has kept my interest more than any ither TD type game I have played. I play everyday at least a bit. Probably babky have more that 100 hours invested - right up there with my favorite RPGs of all time.

    The criticism is not unfounded, but you folks really produced a great game IMHO. Probably be playing for quite sometime. Most games that I love I put some hours into, but usually not more that 10 or 20. More than 50 is unusual and more than 100 is less than 10 in my life (considering I have been gaming for more than 40 years, that is not bad).

    So how is Crackshot? I've tried using him but his fire rate was really slow, granted I only got him to level 16 but I want to know if he's worth investing time into because it seems like Toad does a better job of clearing out the dangerous one shot mobs at the moment.

    Also you'll still have a way to get free perks even if you remove ads right? I'm sure the answer's somewhere here but I can't seem to find it.

    I use king crab, medic, and the squirrel that auto grabs the bonuses

    I gave not found Crackshot to be any better than bumblebee squadron.

    Toad is also goid but medic heals you.

    If you have the perk, no more ads, tapping on the double just gives you money, perks just give you perks. True to their word!

    I like toad cause he kills guys with his jump but I feel like kind crab kills more guys cause he has the Gatling gun and also his claws. Toad can only jump and hammer. I use crackhead and he looks around really quick but it doesn't seem like he fires that quick but it still seems fast to me. Although I feel like his special is crap half the time I try to use it the enemies are killed before any rocket shows up. The medic and pack rat are the most useful that's for sure but other then them I would go either crackass or king crabs. They're all sort of preference though cause I just beat level 1000 today and I feel like my regular units kill the vast majority of the enemies.

    I've also found the sniper to shoot too slow to be of much use. Even his special fires slowly.

    Currently using crab, medic, and packrat... Altho like many I'm pretty much logging in for the perks & bosses.
