i didn't realize it's a thing, but you can just click the "next generation" button in the upgrade menu and skip the whole "wait til you die" thing. it's also probably why people have bugged games. you can spend a token or two on level skips and easily out-pace your minimum "next generation" level, so you can instantly regen as much as you want for a fairly hefty bonus. Personally, i did it to skip from 27-35 generations, since i didn't feel like waiting to die a bunch. guessing some others are on their illicit 500th generation or something absurd like that, with huge dmg modifiers.... that broke their games.
I'm only on my 50th. Lol. But my next regen I start at level 378! It's going to be intense hehe. Billy
I still don't know, guys. It just feels like people are trying to steamroll the game, perceiving level/upgrade gates as a design flaw, and basically trying to ruin the experience for themselves. Is the game really that much better with everything unlocked right away? I can't imagine so since all I'm reading are complaints. Meanwhile, I'm on a measly G6L35 (that's how cool people describe their generation/level), and having a blast.
issue is that things start to chug because you need units to kill the swarmer waves, and the only way to get more units is to die. Shouldn't have to lose 35 times to get the units. But honestly bigger issue is swarmer waves and the mechanic/bug that makes waves last soooooo much longer now. More units helps mitigate this since you need to pump out rapid damage from a lot of sources to beat them... DPS is largely irrelevant - what you need is fast & frequent shots from lots of sources.
I agree with puter - i fight until I die - never suicide, and had a blast slowly unlocking everything. No problems with waves but currently only getting into the low 100s. On another note - if I purchase the no ads perk, do I still get perks every few hours, or would I have to pay 2 tokens for them?
The no ads perk is totally worth it, you still get the timed money and perk bonuses. I haven't suicided much...on gen 22, max level 170 with 2x dmg. Best thing for me is to skip stages, then regen if it's too hard. Saves a lot of time and I get more money/dmg. Thanks devs! Best money I've spent recently!
Okay I need to know. Does anyone have Mortor rack AOE bonus over 150%? I was working on it and have not seen a perk upgrade in ages (multiple 6 choice perk rolls).

YMMV, but I dropped $10 on the game in my first few hours and jumped right to the double damage, double money, double perk choices and had enough left over for a few of the 3X L10 perk packs. The result is that even before the update the games were taking me a day or two to finish with the amount I play. Post update with scaled perks, heroes, and fully functioning double damage I'm still on the same game I was in the middle of when the update dropped, and rapidly approaching tripling my previous record (68->204) and not sure when I'm going to finally die, because it's still not going to be for a while. And I still don't have the support tortoise unlocked. You can bet your sweet bippy I'm just going to fast forward through the generations to hit 35 when this game ends. It's only 4 more generations, but doing it by the book would put me sometime well into June before I unlocked a unit that if I hadn't supported the game would have happened two weeks ago.
I'm like 90% convinced he did like 360 regens. I.e. On 360th generation or so. So he got to like lvl 2-400, bought a few level skips, and hit "next generation" like 300 times for the bonus, which got so big it busted the game.
Those who are at level 60ish what's your tortoise health and armor? Do u get one shoot killed by those snipers?
For those who are playing this over your mobile plan just be aware that each time u start the app it will take up 5mb of data due to the pop up ads. I have tested this and confirmed it's taking that MUCH data.. Geez
Foursaken, The x3 instant perks are definitely breaking the game. I just confirmed it. I've done a lot of them over the last few days and first noticed the war Zeppelin broke, then my bumblebee drones. Well my mortar rack JUST broke. I just witnessed it. The damage wasn't over 1 million. I got 35 tokens after earning a few from a boss. I hit the store and hit the x3 perk. One of the was for the mortar rack. I go to look and the mortar rack is broken. It is not even displaying numbers. It's a blank space. Nothing. Nadia. Zip. So now I have 3 units broken. Any ideas? Can you fix this? It's definitely the perk causing this. I just witnessed it in real time. Billy
Ya, Billy, I'm no where near your level, time or money vested but you are correct in that things aren't working right. I'm about to shelve it again. Granted I'm only level 55 gen 11. So what do I know anyways.
Few questions: - L/G what are your priorities for upgrading if you start ? - what do you neglect and why! - if you reset in the options, do you get your purchased currency back? - do you always fight till you die or do you skip early? - how fast did you try to get to gen 35 to unlock everything? - what is dependent on the level that you are at when using s perk (perk quality?, amount of dmg?, stuff to upgrade? ...)? Or are they Independend?
Yes when I got to level 366 I bought 5 level skips so I regen's to level 366 but I wasn't making enough money to beat the level so I hit auto regen and set my phone down and it went up a lot. Now I'm on regen 800 and making progress again but most everything says +0 now. I'll send screen shots
I set it on auto regen and walked away from my phone because I wasn't getting enough starting cash to beat the level I used tokens to skip to. I was at gen 360 when I noticed it happened. I sent screen shots though. Sometimes some of the support units come back and sometimes they almost all have +0. Basically making upgrading damage useless because it doesn't do anything.
