According to Foursaken's Twitter they have found the bug causing the problem with iPad 4 and older devices, and are submitting a hotfix. Hopefully live in a day or 2.
Thanks for the updates! The one eyed general is so cool!! It should be renamed to one eyed ninja general they way he moves!!! With the new updates I broke few levels easily!!!! Wooo hoo of this game is getting easier
No way lol. But my next generation I'll be starting at level 378 lol!!!! I love this update. For those saying they don't see the double damage I absolutely see it here. My machine gun went from 6k damage to 26,000 damage. An increase of 20,000!!! I did 2 x3 instant perks and it's now 56,000 lol I absolutely love the heroes. They are awesome. I have one eye general, the healing hero, and the hero that auto collects the minerals. The hero they give you automatically is actually really awesome! I no longer have to worry about collecting minerals. So I've been concentrating on actually playing! I love it! The game is so more engaging for me now. And activating the heroes is awesome. This update and this game is so well done and thought out! Well worth the additional purchase I made today. I'm so happy to no longer have ads. Billy
got mine. 4-5 lvl 5 perks. popup came up after i picked heroes, assigned them, and got a tip or two on them.
Hey foursaken This update introduces a new bug. It didn't happen before this. Whenever there's a pop up message the game will lag a little. Every time there's pop up u can expect the game to get stunned a moment.
So I updated the game yesterday to give it a whirl. I had been stockpiling my store tokens since reading about the perk damage updates coming and had saved 46. I unlocked all the heroes and bought a couple of perks, tested out the new heroes and then started another generation. Overall I really like the new additions, however this morning I opened the app and all the perks/heroes were gone as well as my tokens, though I was still at the same wave and generation from after I bought them. I'm a little miffed as I'd been saving tokens for a couple of weeks. Anyone else had this problem? I'm playing on a 6s, IOS 9.01.
I found a nifty little tricky u can do with your hero! Suddenly you have those pesky frogs jumping right on your face? Go to the panel change your hero to idle and active.. He will run out from behind you and kill them all!!! Lol ###
How much farther have people been getting? I had to start at level 1 this morning with a previous best of 77 but I just beat level 140 and haven't come close to dying yet.
I reset my game today from level 200... and while it was sad to lose ALL those perks I'd built up, it was also kinda refreshing to start again now that everything is scaled better than it was. I got all my (paid for) tokens back so this time I'll choose perks more wisely. I didn't get a chance to check, so my question is -do the level 10 perks scale with current level achieved or are they always the same, eg will a level 10 money earned perk always be at 30% or will it get higher the further you get? Thanks in advance. P.s. I tried all the Heroes and Packrat, Crackshot and Medic definitely work well as a team for my play style. Or I'll swap Crackshot out with Mr Crab whenever I go active. P.s.s. Thankyou for the update Foursaken, and yes, it was worth the wait.
Any tips on progressing to next generation? Should I skip to next generation when I can't progress any further or should I skip to next generation when for example when I'm level 10 then level 15 then level 20 and so on?
Ideally you want to get as far as you can each time to maximise your 'damage to everything' multiplier. On the other hand you need to regen 35 times before you'll unlock all your support units. I'd recommend every 10 levels until you get impatient, then regen the minimum level requirement until you unlock everything. Then the fun begins...
Is there an easy way to tell when you can activate the hero? I am using Packrat and trying to be efficient in collecting funds. Right now, just tapping every few seconds until it evetually works. Any visual or audio clues? I think this has been answered, but Before I drop 10 or $20 I wanted to ask - the tokens are not consumables when you purchase IAP? By that I mean, if you delete, or reset the game, you will always have those tokens to respend on a new game?
correct. any IAP you buy you can do a restore when you reset the game. You don't keep the tokens you earn in game via level completions and bosses, but you keep your purchased tokens.
Heroes have a glow around their feet when they can be activated. As for the paid tokens, you definitely get them back (or the permanent items you bought with them) on a reset. And if you use iCloud then they will always be safe if you delete.
I finally found the secret in playing this.. Regen at the min level u can. It's a must. Do not waste time chasing the highest level u can go
I regen'd mostly as quick as possible until I got to 35 (all units are unlocked) and then am trying to go as far as I can since so I regen once a day or so depending what level I am so I can fight the boss in the morning at a reasonable level.
The heroes sort of look like they have a yellow fire around their feet. I find the pack rat is sort of hard to see but king crab and horn toad are large so they're easy and the squirrel sniper is right in front of the cam so he is obvious.
