With the double perks you choose one perk out of 6 options instead of 3, so your options are doubled and hence the chance of getting something you want. You only get to pick one though, but still a very good upgrade
We tested a bunch on the iPhone5... but I cant recall if the actual processor is any worse in the 5c off the top of my head. Will have to check it out - this is actually the first we've heard of performance issue! The amount of enemies on screen at once actually doesnt increase, so it could be something with the effects. Does not scale automatically, by design. That would pretty much break the flow of the game completely (as all you'd need is one good perk, and then it would keep scaling up as you kept increasing level, which would allow you to always be a step ahead) - thats not really how incremental games work - however, we obviously needed to fix the fact that perks got exponentially worse as you kept playing. Right now (in 1.1), whenever you get a perk it should be a big enough bonus that it will allow you to progress quite a bit further - by that time you'll be close to completing another goal and getting a new perk, which will allow you to progress eve further, etc. It should feel like you're getting a big boost with every perk now.
Damn 15 tokens a day!! Yesterday was the first day I got to fight two bosses and those 8 were the only tokens I got all day. Anytime I try to push I get close to my best and then die a bunch until it's an hour wait.
Yea but you have to understand I'm buying the instant x3 perk almost everyday. I always choose good damages if I can. So I'm really pushing it. I have come close to dying several times now but that's why I've learned to keep a reserve of 20 so I heal or have enough for an emergency. Billy
Perks and Death Hello. First off, great game. One thing I have been having a problem with is that when I die or when I pick a perk, I am instantly logged off/disconnected from the game. I saw where someone else was having the same problem but I can't remember what page it was on. I was wondering if this is something on our end or is this something that is already being looked into. Thanks. Edit: ep5y on page 29. This is the first mention I saw of the game crashing.
Have heard of this only a few times, but we still can't track it down and haven't seen it ourselves yet - but we are looking into it! That one will not have any retroactive bonuses.
I've been able to reach level 70 gen 20. My machine gun becomes pretty useless and the supports do most of the dmg. I get my MG crit to around 20-25 and dmg 18000+ and still pretty useless on the big guys. Do you put a lot of perks into MG?
The machine gun is best if you manually target. In auto mode it is less accurate and less range. Yes I choose 400% machine gun increase every so often. Billy
I'm on a iPad mini 4 and get immense lag around wave 60. It's totally particle lag because everytime it looks like the end of the world is happening and then when the wave is killed it speeds back up until everything starts firing and the coins start flying. I had the graphics maxed but now I have it on the lowest setting because I can only auto when it lags.
Also sometimes I can make the lag mostly go away by upgrading weapon systems because it drops the amount of tracers on screen at once
Uggh..... So frustrating. If I die, I automatically get kicked back to level 1 and auto next generation. I never get the chance on repeating the level. About 5 seconds after I get the 30 second notification, back to level 1. I have recently been unable to sign into game center. Possible connection?
I'm in the mid 70s (though sometimes I'll just get oneshot in the 50s), and trying to figure out how to spend my tokens. Would the triple perk pack help a lot? Or should I save up for either double dmg or double money?
We'll look at adding some more graphics options. No connection. Simply uncheck the "Auto-Next Generation" checkbox in the bottom left of the screen after you die. Its white when its active, and gray when its not.
Hi everyone. I haven't had a boss appear for 4 days now. Is there some way to "force" a boss to appear?
I would recommend holding off on getting any perks until the update - they're changing quite a bit and will be MUCH more powerful after the first update.
Yeah they used to appear with that sort of frequency... weird. I might upload to icloud, and then try a reinstall.
