Would be cool if you could upgrade or change the tortoise. Like different armors/colors. Also the option to buy with real money, or in game money some supper cool tortoises that give special little bonuses, with each turtle having a different ability.
Looks terrible iPhone 6s plus I've been playing a shit ton of War Tortoise on my 12 inch iPad Pro and it looks incredible and runs really well. I also downloaded it on my iPhone 6s plus and it runs at a higher frame rate and the gameplay is smoother, but the graphics look awful. The text in game is pixelated and none of the textures are sharp. I've tried adjusting the graphical settings and they don't appear to make a difference on my phone. Anyone else experienced this?
I wouldn't mind an update to the game which allowed for multiple game save slots - it might solve the issue for players who feel like they are in grind mode if they could switch to another game at a different level... and allow for testing of different upgrade strategies, etc...
Actually I'm level 337 lol and no. I was a public servant who was severely injured protecting someone else and recently become permanently disabled because of it. I use the games the escape the pain that the pills don't completely take away. It helps. Billy
Great game First off, great game! Already spent over $30 on it as it is very addictive. There are a couple of issues that I have not seen addressed after doing a search through responded posts by Forsaken Media. The mortar blast radius upgrade seems broke. It is suppose to add 2M with every upgrade, but only adds it every other upgrade. 15>17>18>20>21>etc. Also something seems very wrong with the support tortoise. It claims to have a base range of 3450M, but it hardly ever shoots at ANYTHING! It just turns but never shoots unless something gets very close. It acts as if the range is only 345M. If I pour a lot of upgrades to the range it starts shooting at things. But my gun carriage at only 500M shoots at a lot of enemies that the support tortoise never attempts to. This makes me wonder if the claimed damage of 1191K for it is true too. Most prized upgrade hardly doing anything was kind of a let down after playing so much to unlock it
That is definitely a display bug! In fact, that base range of 3450m really means it has a base range of about 175m (it has about 1.5x the base range of a gun tower)... good find - will be fixed in first update! Dont worry - damage is all displayed correctly.
Whats the point of double damage after some generations? You have e.g. +1000 percent 'damage to all' anyways. And the +200% damage stacks but does not multiply (so would only be +20% if you already have +1000). -or am i wrong? So the money doubler and 'double perk choices' are better?
Thanks for the quick response! Only other feature that would be perfect for this is a priority toggle. Tell each support troop to either attack closest, furthest, or strongest. All great tower defense games have a similar option and I think this game would be perfect with something like that. As I said, great game. As a fan of premium games, nice to see someone creative and do free to play in a good way.
I think the 1000% damage would be a thousand percent (or ten x) more than the damage you had at the very start of the game, when you had a pea-shooter and couldn't get through more than a handful of waves. The double damage doesn't just add two hundred percent on top of the thousand: it doubles EVERYTHING! It would turn that 1000% into 2000%.
My contention is that having all of them are better! At 50th regeneration I'm at level 332 and have only been almost killed twice. I am slaughtering bosses. Earning tokens on top of the ones I've purchased. I'm pushing it as far as possible. As soon as I do die the next regeneration is going to be off the hook. I've taken advantage of every perk. I watch the ads for the perks. I stand by what I said. If nothing else but to also support the development of this game. Double damage owns. Billy
The double money and double damage permanent perks via the store are a multiplier on EVERYTHING, after all perks are applied... this means it will always be relevant. For ex if you have +1000% damage on everything, with double damage perk its now +2000%. If you have +10000% damage, its +20000% with double damage. Same with the money perk... it applies as a multiplier on top of any money perks you already have.
So if my active perk list says +16,000% damage to everything for example, then it is actually +32,000%?
It's nice to see the developer answering almost every question in the thread . That right there is worth it's weight in gold. I have many problems with the game but developer has answered and helped with so much
Ok I just double checked just to make sure... here's exactly what the 2x damage does. So, the double damage perk affects all damage dealt, and is already directly reflected in the listed damage and dps numbers. Because perks affect the total damage and are already applied inside of a units damage output, it is essentially doubling the perk effects as well. So, any damage dealt = ((damage + upgrades)*perks)*2x damage perk So for ex if you're mouse gunner squad says 5000 damage, that means it would be 2500 without the 2x damage perk.
What weapons/ supports do you guys like to prioritize? And what stats on them? Eg: range, number of turrets, Weapon upgrade, etc
