For myself I just like buying all of the permanent purchases. It helps the developers and makes the game more interesting for myself. I don't even look to see who is at what level or whatever. For me this game is about pure action and intense fun. It's about personal achievement. How far can I now get without regenerating? That's it. This game delivers. The devs deserve to earn some money. So they get money and I get some cool permanent perks. Billy
Haha, that made me lol. Glad we can have a sense of humor about jabbing at each other. Yeah, I took the screenshot after the timer expired so that's why it has the continue button. I was trying to show how I was getting a timer with no option to continue without using tokens and couldn't regen since I hadn't reached the required level. Something FM has said shouldn't be possible. They seem to be aware now that it's not working as planned and are rushing to fix it.
Yep! The fix for an exploit is basically whats causing the times where you cannot go next gen and are stuck on a timer (which is not intentional). Basically from the beta and our playtests we made an assumption that players would be able to progress at least one level further every 2 generations... clearly no true! >_<
Please tell me you guys already have a premium version of the game in the works, a la Heroes and Castles 2. One where... ... I don't have to stare at an ad for "Cutie Riot" as I'm about to enter the battlefield. Can't tap out of it right away because the GameCenter banner overlaps the "X" on the ad. ...I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to watch an ad for my free perk. ...I'm not greeted with an ad because I received a phone call. ...I'm not greeted with the opportunity to watch another ad, after closing the ad that greeted me because I received a phone call. ...Premium currency is easier to earn. (Like Heroes And Castles 2, premium version) ...Did I mention no more scum-sucking ads? Speaking of perks, and waking up in the middle of the night to "earn" one ... are there any utility and/or game changing perks? Most of the perks seem to be damage oriented. And it's not that exciting to wake up at 4 am and watch an ad just so my bumblebees can do an extra +25%. Hurray. =/ Please tell me there are some perks that unlock, extend, expand on, or enhance certain functions of units. Like... ...Run speed for the assault squad. ...Turning/tracking speed for your auto-battling mouse (I want the darn thing to be shooting frantically at an upcoming swarm of beetles or frogs, so I can recreate my own Saving Private Ryan beach-storming scene, as opposed to watching the mouse leisurely turn from direction to another while it sips its coffee.) ...Flying speed for the sparrows. They seem to spend more time checking out the scenery than pursuing enemies. I want it to eventually be zipping around at Mach 3. Fun! ...Improved tracking for the mortars. ...Reduced respawn speed for dead units. Straight up DPS increases, cash earned, bonus health, etc... are all fine, but they don't really enhance the fun of the game, or allow you to customize your units/style of play. I don't want to feel like I'm managing a spreadsheet all the time. Otherwise, graphics aside, this game becomes too similar to any other idle game. Guys, I love your games. I insta-buy your games. And as a longtime fan, I feel shortchanged when I'm lumped with f2p players. Let me pay you for an overall better, more immersive, uninterrupted experience, as opposed to buying some premium currency so I can pick up more unimaginative perks that make my spreadsheet look pretty. Please. Also, some suggestions: Have enemies drop powerups! From small cash bonuses to equipping your turtle with a heat-seeking missile launcher for a few seconds! More interactivity and fun! Add secondary functions to all units! The sparrow already launches a missile every minute or so. Have the assault squad charge up an attack as they run toward a target, so the first blow deals more damage. Have the bumblebees fire a "stinger" at their enemy on a cooldown, that slows the enemy down. Have the gunner squads lob grenades. Have the towers do more damage the longer they fire at a single target. Activated abilities. Summoning units temporarily, calling in "eagle raids", dropping bear traps all over the field. This could be coupled with an RPG system for leveling up your mouse and unlocking a skill tree. Again, the idea here is more interactivity and fun! Thanks again for such a great game. And here's to #MakeFoursakenMediaGamesAdFreeAgain. Cheers!
How do you Auto-Aim? Love the game, but if you could replay the tutorial somehow...I can't seem to figure out how to auto shoot. Also, am I the only one who wished the tortoise could move/look around?
autoshoot is available after some certain even/stage, dont' recall exactly, but you can enable by double clicking the screen, or the triangle icon near the top left (if visible, if not, then you can't enable it yet with double clicking either). yes, would love to see the turtle plodding along, all the screenshots gave me that impression of the game, was disappointed when it didn't happen
To the devs!!!! The game has a major icloud up/download problem. Uploading from my iphone or ipad to cloud and vice versa and the downloading from the other device results in continuing from the same wave etc BUT the coins are never the same amount. For example playing on iphone with 3205 coins. Uploading to cloud. Waiting 1-2 hours. Returning home from my work. Downloading from cloud to ipad everything is ok BUT i have 2897 coins. Did not happened once but many times. I did have 2897 coins earlier. Seems like when i upload to cloud it uploads not my current state (in coins) BUT what i had 3-4 minutes before.
Suggestions Post!!! Here are a few, some of which others actively suggest: 1. Automatic mine collection mechanic 2. Ad-removal mechanic 3. Additional ad video watching for some benefit, not just the doubling 'away' cash 4. More details in the form of tooltips maybe, for upgrades, so cost-value calculations are easier 5. Details for enemies, maybe in the form of a journal or bestiary 6. Additional camera mode, free roam, so I can watch for more details on the field or take mined products easier 7. Clarify further the ifems in the token store
Did anyone double tap the screen yet? It slightly changes the camera by pulling back enough to have a good view of your tortoise and the area around it. Probably not as good on iPhone because it puts the battlefield further from view and harder to see enemies but probably rocks in iPad.
That's my default view for now, but it still occasionally spawns clickables off screen so I need to pan from time to time.
Yes but that activates auto combat As far as i'm aware there is no way to zoom out while manually controlling the machine gun By the way, the ability to zoom while in manual mode would be a nice upgrade. Also, some sort of tap to switch target while in auto mode since my auto pilot is less than great at picking targets. Could also be a paid upgrade or perk
How useful is the double perk selection? Does it add a significant amount of customization? Or would I be better off saving my tokens for other purchases?
So you're right. I didn't notice it went to auto mode when I did it by accident because I was in the middle of a fire fight. Sorry for the false report.
We are adding a store item to remove ads (which also will remove video ads - you'll get those things instantly). As for some of the other suggestions, I get what you're saying but the game was designed as is very purposefully. We didn't "leave out" stuff, but we purposefully didn't include them for no other reason than that is not what this game was intended to be - this isn't a HC2 type game with tons of strategy and deep specialization - that is all by design. We didn't want players to be spending hours trying to figure out if sparrow speed was a worse upgrade than mouse damage - but only in certain scenarios, etc... Will check it out! 1. Have an idea for this. 2. Coming in 1st update 4. There's really not much more info to give other than the listed dps 5. Could be cool 6. We'll think about ways to make this possible 7. Any in particular?
