So essentially we can record as many and any games we desire (preferably ones without previous TA coverage) and be compensated for the game? I'm interested. I just wanna make sure I don't buy a bunch of games, make the videos and have to foot the bill. If that's the deal, sounds great, I'm able and willing.
The best way to record the gameplay on a mac is by using quicktime. Only supports iOS 8 devices and Yosemite. I guess.
Maybe I'll get Yosemite. Should it be games that the site has reviewed the game or does it matter? Lesser known games? Are older games ok as long as their hasn't been a previous upload?
I was wondering about that, not everyone uses a Mac so it makes sense to ask what other people use. I've used X-Mirage but it does not give great results for my testing videos. I'll give reflector a shot
There are two, Touch Arcade, which only released videos every now and then, and then there's TouchGameplay, which is usually Sanuku playing the games and there is a trailer or two every now and then.
Question: Would there be any objection against a dev doing this? The game we released today, BlastBall MAX, is pretty insane strategy-wise. I could fill quite a bit of video doing crazy combo's and completing the games harder missions.
Hi. I'm down to record gameplay footage for you. I review apps and games for a national paper/site and I've been asked to record some footage too so two birds and all that. I like free games too, luckily for you. Where do I sign up?
Just a small pointer. yosemite and iOS 8 have video capturing onboard. you just need a iOS device with lightning connector. We used that for capturing in game trailer for our game and it worked pretty well. Full Res at 30 fps. If you need help pm me.
Any suggestions on how I can record on my iP4s iOS 8.2 without bluetooth/wifi. PC is Windows 7. Thank you!
Air Server or Reflector are 2 software solutions for Mac/windows not sure if they support over usb though.. airlpay is wifi based so.. but i think they have demos You can always buy a super cheap wifi adapter
