According to friends of mine, Scoops has started showing up on the demo iPhones and iPod Touches inside Apple retail locations! The demo devices are using a special demo build of Scoops that Apple asked me to put together for them.

More about Scoops on its web page: http://www.eeenmachine.com/scoops

It's a great game to show off how simple gameplay can be so much fun on the iDevice. Hopefully you will get a good boost of sales due to this and we'll see another game from you soon. You're definitely on a roll now!

    Cheers!

They wanted me to cut down the functionality  so I stop the game at 50,000 points if they get that far.

Sweet! It's great that they chose Scoops to showcase - it makes use of the accelerometer really well. Congrats :D!

Great! Sounds like it'd be good for publicity. With that special build you made for it does that mean you could make a Lite Version too?

I guess so. They made it sound like they wanted to use lite versions of apps to demo if they already existed. So I guess if I made Scoops Lite they might swap that in, I dunno.

I don't think Scoops is at the right price point to benefit from a lite version though.
