Hi all. Just wanted to let others know that the new Wal-Mart flyer that arrived in my mail yesterday indicated that the $25 gift cards would be $5 off. $5 of free App Store games.
I've never heard of iTunes gift cards going on sale before. Sucks too, because I was out and about yesterday and just picked up a $50 card. (I'm trying not to use my credit card so I can pay the damn thing down) Woulda been nice if I could have gone to WallyWorld instead and maybe plopped down $60 for $75 worth of credit, especially since I wasn't far from one.
Just a heads up, the flyers just arrived yesterday so I'm guessing they don't start until Friday or Saturday. I honestly never looked at the date on them.
Just thought I'd point out, they're not really free since you still had to drop $20 to get the deal They're cheaper though.
haha... yeah I worded it kind of wrong. When you buy a gift card though it is of equal value so then selling them for $20 does give you an extra $5 worth of iTunes credit. Definitely. I will be picking up 4 or 5 of them. Should last me awhile.
If you buy 5 of them, you get 25$ discount so you can buy another one, get 5$ off, plus 5$ left over and then... (Hodapp head explodes!)
I gotta go steal a car so i can drive to Canada.....can you give the exact location....i gotta get me some of these. Another things you could do is sell the gift cards for 24 dollars. So you pay 20 dollars for them and you sell it for 24 dollars. The person buying would think it is a steal and you make 4 bucks profit so 100,000 (i hope walmart has that many) gift cards times 4 dollars + 400,000..you could make a living off this.
Keep in mind that gift cards only work in the country they're bought from. Buy Canadian gift cards and you can only redeem and use them on the Canadian App Store.
Costco always has $60 on sale for $55 (not as good a deal, though). Just for when this sale ends . . .
when that changed? because until may u could only buy music, tv shows and movies...and if u go to the appstore this is what u get: iTunes Gift Cards Terms and Conditions: iTunes Gift Cards may not be used on the Canadian store to purchase applications and games.
