I'm about to download it again and find out about iOS 8. What sucks is that I don't think it has iCloud
From what I've seen from trailers etc., it should be more enjoyable on an iPad with a bigger screen. Would you still recommend the game today if it had no issues and stuff?
Yeah, I just booted it up on my iPhone 5S, ios 8 and it's running smoothly. If you are looking for an adventure/exploration game, this is highly recommended.
So glad I went back & gave this another try. It's a really good game. I'm not sure why I gave up the first time but I'm pretty far along & am enjoying it. I guess sometimes timing is everything.
I had trouble with it the first time because it didn't save anytime, only at chapters or checkpoints, right? I'll probably try again today, as I'm on a Mars kick with Mines of Mars and Doom.
Waking this thread for Waking Mars by Tiger Style. I thought there might be some new found interest with the release of The Martian.
Contacted the dev and they are working to fix the problem with not being able to open the game if u have gamecenter bug. They weren't aware. Appreciate these guys listening to gamers.
Sorry once again to everyone having trouble getting Waking Mars running correctly. After researching the problem, there appears to have been Game Center bugs introduced as far back as iOS9 which plague some users more than others. :< Unfortunately this looks like an Apple-side problem that we have no power to fix. However, our engineers are still examining our options and hoping to find a workaround. Please try these fixes, which, if they happen to work, may fix ALL of the games you can't get to work on iOS9+: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7390787?start=0&tstart=0 https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7378432?start=0&tstart=0 These fixes are a bit more invasive, so up to you whether you want to try them: http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/ios-9-problems/5/
Still good in 2017 Is this game still as good as the TA review states, 5 years later? (would play it on an iPhone 7+)
=D If you were unlucky enough to miss this one the first time around - and especially if you're into metroidvania/exploration games - you NEED to pick this one up. It's OUT.STAND.ING.
