Can you only go above Core 36 (find more rooms) after you activate the machine at "The Helm"? I mean, I can't imagine find enough rooms to get to core 72. It took friggin forever to get to core 36! I'm only at 90.4% completion. Also, what is the very last research for the Phyta (after Water Response)? It's the only one I'm missing.
I really enjoy this. But it's not suitable for short burst of play, if I can't spend 10 minutes or more I play something else. The characters and narrative is clever enough to not be annoying, and the story so far really works - quite engaging. But I really dislike the hover controls. I would much more prefer a left/right tap to control left/right boosters, so tapping both sides goes straight up. Currently I'm forced to change grip whenever I want to hover, and my finger & hand cover the area I'm trying to approach.
Stooney (and anyone else who has explored a lot but still has a core power < 36): Spoiler You need to go inside the Core. Return to the level called 'at the Gates' beneath the central shaft and power station. There's an exit you're missing. Once you do that Spoiler you'll gain access to the Helm and new objectives will become available to you. Core Power will be doubled when Spoiler You re-activate the Power Station
Thank you David, but I am glad to have figured it out by myself in the meantime. The entrance to The Helm was a bit hard to find, but I scanned the map closely until I discovered the "Line" going nowhere so far. From finding The Helm it was easy going, I have now seen all the endings, my Core is at 72 and progress at 106,someting percent. The missing progress might be because in two cases research is not complete. Let me say that this is one of the best and most entertaining games I have ever played, not only on iOS but in general. I am looking forward to more titles from you Spoiler especially since the ending where I go up with the core suggests a sequel ;-) What to do in the meantime? Oh, I guess I could get Spider: Bryce Manor, which I will in a minute ;-)
Okay, so core 72 question is clear now, it's not more rooms that ned to be found, core power just doubles. Thanks! So does anyone have their Phyta Research complete? I am missing the last one on the right side and have tried everything I can think of for the past two hours to figure it out. Can you continue the game to fill all your research after you see the third ending or do you have to start a new game? I don't want to continue knowing I will have to start my progress ALL OVER again!
Great game! Bought it yesterday... Already completed to 95% ish and had the cinematic where the roots shoot out of the planets surface. I am missing something or have a bug... I still have a quest where I need to figure out what the sentient wants, I walk to the crystal and do the wired flashing picture puzzle but that's it, nothing else happens??? I also had what I think was a bug earlier where I made it to base camp half way through because I had died somewhere and it spawned me onto the planets surface lol, maybe this caused it to bug out or something... I've already put uncountable hours into this and don't really want to restart for 5% if this is the case... What do you need to do after the flashing puzzle? I hope it's not a bug, but nothing comes out to talk to me or is that not meant to happen??
You need to Spoiler feed something to a phyta. If you really want to know what it is.... Spoiler it's a feran seed -- make sure you watch the phyta for a few seconds after feeding it
I think I kept killing them by throwing it and moved on never realizing I could just drop one on the floor! I loved this game! LOVED! I currently own over 5,000 apps and games with over 4,000 being games (majority retail, not free) and this game is in my top ten.
Game save says I'm at 108.8%, but GameCenter says I'm at 108.7%? Which is right? And what the heck is left to do after bringing all core rooms to biomass 5 to level up to 72 core at double, get every research pending and achievement, and view all three endings? What is that last 1.2% that brings me to 110% completion?
Hey guys, Yep, super awesome game. Yay non violent Metroid! And thank you to the forums for previous helps that did not require posting. Anyway, I've finished the game, got all three endings, and am trying to 100% out my research. I've got two missing parts: 1. The last section of Cephad Zoa, after vulnerabilities. I got the impression from an earlier post that I should try compost on a Cephad Zoa? I'm assuming compost is the red cigar shaped thing in my seed array. I tried that, but I think I messed up by trying it on an acidic Cephad. If this thinking is all correct and I need to put compost on a Alkaline Cephad, where do I get more compost from? I used my last one on that acidic one. 2. MegaZoa. Spoiler I've got periscope, hydronmaxis, feranmaxis, and levitroph. Harvester is there, but it's not checked and it tells me to go back to the Harvester chamber to determine stuff, but I for the life of me can't remember which room had the original, megahuge harvester. Even then, are those five harvesters all you need to get research complete? Thanks in advance everyone. Thanks for an awesome game, Tiger Style. Guess Spider will be my next purchase!
Think I can help with this one: Spoiler Just go to the Harvester chamber and stand on a glowing Harvester (I believe the room must be at 100% biomass but you will already have that anyway. This should do the trick.

I am having the same issue as one of the users. I visited the helm saw the vision went to the power station and there is nothing there. I have core power os 36. Did I miss something?
That is the sentient right? I stood next to them in the helm and translated the radio wave stuff that looks like the power station. I went to the power station and nothing has changed. I tried standing in several places.
Spoiler Yeah, the Sentients. from what I remember there are more of them in the Power Station and you need to stand next to all of them. Maybe there is just one for starters but more will come if you "do what they want from them". I just reloaded my old game but they are not there any more, possibly because I finished it. But try searching the Power Station for one or more of them ...
