Hey b-coeur, I'm going to private message you. If you can get me a savegame, I can try and fix it up for you. Sorry for the trouble!
Finished! Game is fantastic from beginning to the end, a true joy to play and something really different from anything ever made... and like a sci-fi movie. Verdict: 10 out of 5 stars . Looking forward to you next project, Tyger Style
The Meadow is killing me!! The fire plant thingies just won't stop to spit their explosives, I just can't produce enough biomass. Like suggested, I was waiting a couple of days not playing the game to make these plant's disappear, but everything's still the same. I'm stuck and that's extremely annoying, since I love this game, but the loving is slowly fading away...
I didn't get the research either. I don't remember seeing a cinematic and I didn't notice the megazoa change, tho I wasn't looking for it at the time..
I think this game has a save game issue. Maybe this was mentioned before, but I didn't read all pages. The app's size is around 205 MB, but my "save games and other data" are at 380 MB right now. And I am only half way toward the second ending... A friend of mine had 1.6 GB of save games as he finished the game! Is that normal? Or are the old save files not properly deleted? What, if I continue playing for a while and space runs out? Everybody can check the size under "usage" or as it is called - and then the WM tab.
Hey there, the tip about "waiting a few days" was not a good one (in fact, it's rather troublesome to me that the Meadow just "reset" for somebody -- but we are experiencing sporadic savegame problems, unfortunately). It is definitely possible to put things into difficult states if you're not careful with the feran or the cephad zoa. They turn into infestations that you have to combat -- I'd suggest going to Lethe Gorge and collecting a bunch of alkaline cephad, and then using those to wipe out the feran in meadow. Good luck!
Hey Vovin -- just make sure you update to the latest version! That bug was fixed in version 1.1. Also, while that looks really scary, it's just logging data and is stored in the temp cache directory, so if the iPhone/iPad needs space, it will happily erase that data. It shouldn't cause you any problems. But you should definitely upgrade to the latest version!
You know, I didn't really touch the scripting here, but I THINK you trigger the cinematic when you walk/fly UNDER the megazoa -- there is a passageway at the very bottom of the level that cuts horizontally through the megazoa (under the inaccessible part where you can plant a bunch of seeds). I believe the cinematic should trigger in there. Can you try that out for me and let me know if that works?
Hmm... Have you run the app after updating the game? It is supposed to delete all the log data immediately after execution in version 1.1. I just explicitly tested this with version 1.1 from the AppStore and it appears to be working. Where's it reporting the app size again? Perhaps it's just not up to date with the current app size...
Also, make sure you start the app from scratch (if it's an active process, kill the process first, and then relaunch it). That's when I do the cleanup of the log directory.
I tried this and various other things and I'm happy to report that a complete reboot of my device fixed the problem. Thanks!
Any chance that you travelled out of the level AFTER hitting biomass 5 but BEFORE touching the ground (physically)? If you did that, that could definitely break the scripting. I have a code fix that should make this cinematic bulletproof, and I'll submit it with the next update (hopefully today).
Waking Mars - question on save game Hello Everyone, I have a question regarding Waking Mars. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, this is my first post here. I play this game on both my iPad and iPhone. Is there a way that I can synchronize my save game? I do this with Infinity Blade II and Real Racing HD 2 and works flawless. Thanks! Dave
