I'm a pretty passive individual but you got a great point there. I'll try to put in a good word for the lesser know developers to help them out.Your english isn't bad by the way:)

Really, I'm not surprised at all that Waking Mars got people to sign up for the forums. It's definitely one of those games that has the potential to do so.

Sorry about that THOTH, you were asking about Cephad research?

Enrich terrain occupied by a Cephad plant

After playing this game for 20 mins I can say I'm really impressed with what I have seen! It looks very polished and nice. Music is relaxing and well fited to game. This game turns to be one of the biggest surprises to me. Even that women's portrait doesn't seem so stupid in game like on app description pictures.

But I have one complain though.. I'm playing on 3GS and when I hit "how to play" from pause menu, game crashes.
Is there anything I should know from "how to play" that I would never figure it out by myself??

I might be wrong but I think this was mentioned earlier in the thread.. I think if you set your phone language to english it doesnt crash? (I could be wrong but I think I saw this a couple pages back)

    *edit*
    Found it

Oh and to further answer your question, no it isnt important to read that. In fact I never did and the game is pretty straight forward as to how things work.

Glad to have you aboard CroRock :)

BTW, sorry about the crash when opening How To Play -- it is true that it happens when you're on a device set to a language other than English, and I have a fix for it locally that I'm hoping to submit along with other bugfixes as soon as possible.

    No worries David, I'm just grateful you made this game, as long as you produce games of this caliber you'll empty my wallet! If you don't mind elaborating a little;
by enriching the soil do you mean using an acidic cepad spore on an existing alkaline plant and vise versa? I've done this several times but it doesn't unlock the research. If you didn't see my earlier post I'm going for the last bullet point of research under vulnerabilities
    Thanks!

    I think he means
use the compost to fertilize the zoa

AHA! Thanks Xexist, that's precisely it.
I didn't realize there was compost, I picked up one throughout my entire playthrough and didn't know what it was.

i got another question guys. i decided to start the game over and i've come across the megazoa for the first time and an optional objective is to investigate the interior of it but i can't figure out for the life of me how? i raised the biomass to max in that chamber thinking maybe that was required but nothing, thought i could just pop down in through the top (where the acid is landing on it) but nope

    any ideas?

playing through again i'm trying to pay closer attention

Well what you need to do is
go to the one on the far left, and you can can just walk into it. There is just a hole in it. It shouldnt be too terribly hard to find.

How do you revive the roots in the Lethe Gorge level?

Any tip for "the meadow"? Have to raise biomass to 1500 and its being a pain with so many Feran Zoa that are destroying my work constantly

2 ways to do this (possibly more?) you can clearly see the seeds of the plants damaging the roots, so either kill some of the zoa that are shooting the seeds using feran seeds, or do what I did the first time around or if you have no feran seeds - collect the alkaline and acidic seeds, go to the left into the little cavern and shoot them straight up (so they wont just bounce to the right out of the cavern) and then go get more seeds and repeat, should only take a minute or two. Then the seeds will all be in that little room instead of damaging the roots and presto - root touch the ground

As far as I know any will do... they are the ones that block out the atmosphere from the outside. so if you are in the broken reservoir room, I think directly up on the map from your location is another exit from the caves to the outside. there should be one there.

Yeah, the Feran can turn into an infestation if you're not careful with them.

You can collect alkaline spores in another level (such as Lethe Gorge or At The Gates) and use them to terminate some of your Feran in Meadow. Compost comes in handy, as do Cycot and Phyta Reproduction.
