Same here. I love wawa land but this update sounds terrible. I'm not even gonna click on that icon. Don't want it sharing anything. Just want to play the game not annoy friends with messages etc Adding buzzdoes sounds like a bad move
@psj3809 Again, buzzdoes is absolutely optionnal. It's only a button at the bottom right of the title screen and a button in the menu like so: As you see, the game isn't broken with those two buttons
@PlayFripp I think you are kind of missing the point, I will try to elborate: When I install Whatsapp It asks me to give it access to my personal phone contacts, same with Viber. After the said permission is issued I can use the app and I think Whatsapp works without the permission. This service: Buzzdoes, asked me to read the EULA and accept AFTER it has already shown my email contacts! Apple should have another look at it, I have no concern for your App it's great and I love it and the updates improved it IMMENSELY. It's this Buzzdoes that I'm concerned about it seemed to be half-baked (crashed now). I didn't agree to the EULA and I don't like it accessing my contacts WITHOUT my permission. Regardless, Apple should add a "Private info" button to the settings so I can shut down the use of them per specific app like they did to the location services. BZ
I'm not angry... it's just upsetting that you've gone ahead and added this. 'Services' like this, they just don't click well with me. I know they're optional, but they make the game feel cheap... sorry
@beelzbub23 I think you are right. Buzzdoes should add that, I agree. In fact I am curently "testing it" for a month or two, to see if it is a good service. If not, I will remove it. All I want to do is to make the game better and to give the opportunity to the players to share it with their friends if they want. If I see that this service is breaking the game it will be removed as quick as possible!
@beelzebub23 I emailed my Buzzdoes contact, and questioned him about the fact that Buzzdoes do not ask for permission. I will show you the reply
@pavarotti2007 By testing I mean: "see if it works and people are happy with it". Technically, it's ok.
I'll have to agree with syntheticvoid on this. I was interested enough to want to buy the game but after reading of the "services" is a big turn off for me. Yea, I've read its optional but just the fact that it's there and can be changed later with yet another update is bothersome.
True, but I'd rather gift the app for 99ยข than give the app for free with the possibility of exposing my contacts.
@Coldar I don't get why you would not get a game just because of two buttons? By this I mean that the point is not there. The important thing is the game, its gameplay, the feeling that comes when you play it. And the fact that I may remove those two buttons in the future shows that I always try to listen to Wawa's players, as I always do
Thank you. That is the right thing to do, perhaps it's just a glitch it is a new service after all and none of us here want your App banned or anything. What I'm worried is that if other Apps use this, if it happens to them as well. Can you try to delete it and reinstall it perhaps it does ask for permission but since I just updated it didn't? Just a thought.
Well the point has already been posted of what lies beneath those two buttons. Appreciate the fact of you listening though and possibly reconsidering? Anyway, just wanted to voice my thoughts as what's been already mentioned. I'll still keep the game on a possible purchase list but as it sits I'd always be a little wary when booting the game up. Ok, enough from me....

I was on my usual task of checking updates on iTunes. The newest Wawa Land update made me raised my eyebrows and I came over here immediately. I'll just skip to the conclusion - not updating the app, and possibly deleting it all together. I'm sorry, this 'earn real money by sharing' just doesn't sit right with me, optional or not. It's the intention behind it that turns me off.
