The graphics are a bit repetative and too much shiny, but gameplay should make up for this and make it a great game !
Two random crashes have been reported, a fix will be — if everything goes well — available in january.
Hello again Yann! Decided to try Wacoon HD on my new iPad Mini... Looks and plays better than ever! Best always, Lobster
Hey Yann, I am happy to report that Wacoon runs beautifully on the mini! I have followed this game since it came out, and really respect your dedication and talent. You have worked hard to make this the best game it can be. I have really enjoyed playing and hope to see more in the future! maybe a sequel so e day? Peace, Lobster
Yep, I am very glad for your Super Support Thanks again! For the future, I won't be able to make a sequel to Wacoon Jump directly because of a lack of money for such a big project right now. But I will work on shorter time developments on several games that I wanted to make since months (even years for some) Now that Wacoon is finished I can start to work on all of those ideas Hope you'll like it! PS: To be clear: Wacoon may have a sequel, but not right now
Greetings, Yann Wanted to let you know that I am experiencing crashes regularly with Wacoon Hd on the ipad mini. I don't know if this is a problem specific to the mini, but it seems to happen often after I die in the game. Naturally this takes some of the fun out of the experience. Can this be fixed? Warmest regards, Lobster
Hello Lobster, Thanks for the tip Right now I have two random unfixed crashes that I am aware of: - One related to the Game Center. - The other, because of a problem with water in Water Levels. Yours may be related to the Game Center issue... Please try to play with Game Center off for now. I hope to fix it soon. Anyway thanks, again
Hello everybody! My latest game Gregg is now available! Check out its page on TA's Forums : http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=212030 Thanks for your support
Hello everyone, After almost 2 years, Wacoon Jump has been updated This latest version (1.9) is now fully compatible with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus ; and supports MFi Game Controllers! It has also been updated to 64bits to ensure the best performances. I wasn't able to get every MFi controller available: so if you test the game with a controller, it would be very nice if you can confirm if it works or not on this topic For those who have an iPad, this (old) game has a special version: http://bit.ly/1oGNFuM Nice to be back here
Are you saying its old and out dated now? I never heard of this game until really recently. It's amazing the DEV is still updating this and they never once did a price drop in all those years. It's quite amazing.
Well,,,, I'll wait til it goes free.... LOL I'm kidding!! I' kidding!! Actually, I'm going to purchase the HD/IPad version. (For me! LOL) Also, I would like to gift the game to 3 of my foster kids. But first.... Before I do; there are iap's for in game currency. Does anyone feel that you have to purchase them to enjoy the game? My foster kids would never be able to purchase the iap's. Also, any problems with this version on sale, working on an iPad? For the dev: are you planning on removing Wacon Jump from the App Store any time soon? I use to like your game Greg but sadly... It's gone.... I don't want to purchase 4 copies if it'll be gone soon Thanks!n
Hello @Lavender, I am Yann, the man behind the game. I'll try to answer your questions: - The IAPs in the game are absolutely facultative, you do not need them to complete the game ; no level or any feature is dependent on them. In fact, you can beat the whole game without seeing the IAP Shop screen lol - The iPhone version does run on an iPad, but it will be scaled up x2. So you won't get the sharpest graphics (as it isn't an Universal app (old game engine, sorry but it cannot support it without months of work that I can't afford)). - Nope. As you can see, the game was first released on April 17th 2012 and has just been updated. I do not plan to remove it at all! - I understand your confusion about Gregg, but Apple's App Transfert system prevented Bandai Namco Games (the publisher) to transparently attach this app to my account when the rights were given back to me. - Also about Gregg, I am currently working on the reboot of this game. And I am looking for ways to allow previous player to unlock the content they bought. Thanks for your support!
Hmmm. I never heard of this game til NOW! Downloading it. Edit: Oops! Guess I had it a long time ago and deleted it! Gonna bring it back for another go-round!
