iPad Wacoon Jump! - 2D Platformer

Must admit i'm not bothered whether its retina or not. I'm loving the gameplay, dont find the controls that bad at all. Best 'Mario' style clone i've found on iOS

 

My bad. It looks as though Retina was added. A little late to the game here, sorry.

All of this has been corrected. Wawa Land is retina enabled and the controls works great now (you can also customize your own gamepad as you like).

Good game.I find it strange that you have two hearts(I guess I am used to see three hearts).I am having problems with boss stages where you have to run and jump.It seems impossible to me and I am a huge platformer fan and rarely have problems with platformers.

You can run and jump at the same time by sliding your finger from the run button to the jump button. Hope this will help

 

By the way, when you've got a power the hearts becomes gold, which is the same as having 3 hearts

It's been awhile since I sat down with WaWa. Your hard work really shines through! The controls feel great, and the double jump is wonderfully responsive.
" games made with love " is so true! As an iOS gamer I genuinely respect your dedication and artistry. As an illustrator and musician, I admire what you have done. I wanted to mention that I especially enjoy the music on the minecart level. I just went to see Chick Corea a couple of weeks ago. Do you know his work? Fantastic pianist!
So when do you anticipate having WaWa "finished"? I look forward to seeing the entire game!

Yes I do know Chick Corea, he plays frequently at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, which is just in front of the region I come from: Evian (yes, like the water). I really like is work ! If you like jazzy things like that, you might want to take a look at Gretchen Parlato's "In a Dream" album which is — from my point of view — amazing!

For Wawa Land, I am currently working on those updates:
- Wawa Land : iOS 6 and iPhone 5 support + a lot of enhancements
- Wawa Land HD : The same + retina for the new iPad

I am also working on a Mac version of the game for October. I will then, start adding new content (Chapter 4). I know it takes a long time between the chapter, but I swear: I do my best! XD

I have a big issue right now because I need to change the name Wawa Land to another within 3 weeks because of a trademark issue in the US...
If you've got any idea of a good name for the game please tell me

lol Critter Fritter is a good name XD
But I would like to keep "Land" in the name, so the players can still find the game and understand it is a platformer.
