I am James, the developer of Voxelvoid and I do intend to support older devices (back to at least 4s). It may be a few weeks before I am able to get a patch out though. I hope you will look out for the update! pepper1234 Member Nov 12, 2014 21 0 0 #4 pepper1234, Feb 12, 2015 Last edited: Feb 12, 2015 Ok I have tried down loading on a iPhone 5c not compatible this sucks but it says compatible with s only so ok Retina iPad. Thanks Bagellios New Member Aug 6, 2013 1 0 0 Australia #5 Bagellios, Feb 12, 2015 First imps and feedback for the developer: I tried this on an iPad Air - This looks like a cool retro shooter, loved the game style - The game launches straight into a level where the controls were hard to reach and to work out how to use them (may be an iPad problem) - This is effectively a top-down twin stick shooter, but the view has been changed to isometric and behind the shooter - Sadly for a twin stick shooter, you need to push three buttons to control the shooter (move with left stick in strafe mode, turn with the right turn bar and shoot by poking the centre of the screen). This doesn't work, particularly on larger devices. Suggest putting auto fire function for shooting as auto-aim would just make me dizzy in isometric view - Movement feels slow and clunky, needs to be more responsive and smoother, especially with small arenas and low res assets - Couldn't get the controls to work well for me. It feels like you need to move and turn separately as I couldn't get this to happen at the same time. There are either too many enemies or the controls should be changed to work together more intuitively - Coins are hard to collect. I played level 1 three times and collected 4 coins by the time I had worked it the controls. The first decent upgrade looks like it's either 180 or 400 coins away. Sorry, but I'm not grinding that long for the first upgrade in anything. This had some potential, but just doesn't execute the concepts well enough for me. I'd be interested to see if anyone faired better on a smaller device with the buttons closer together. jmhobrien New Member Feb 12, 2015 3 0 0 https://twitter.com/jmhobrien #6 jmhobrien, Feb 13, 2015 Thank you for the feedback. I will try to improve the user interface in the next update. It is interesting that you have said the first upgrade cost is too high. My testing shows that the first three upgrades can be reached within one hour of play - (but I have played the game a lot!). I will consider lowering to unlock costs in the next patch. Solip:System Well-Known Member Jan 31, 2015 52 0 0 #7 Solip:System, Feb 17, 2015 bummer about the older devices (I've got a 5c and this is the first time I've had this problem, lol). definitely one of the games I was looking forward to checking out last week... will keep it in iTunes and look out the update. jmhobrien New Member Feb 12, 2015 3 0 0 https://twitter.com/jmhobrien #8 jmhobrien, Apr 27, 2015 More devices supported now! Hey all, I realise it's been a while, but I just wanted to let you know that the system requirements are now iPhone4s (or iPad gen2) with iOS 7.0 or above. Everything since then should be compatible. I hope you get a chance to try out my game! Thanks. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password?
