    Doesn't look too good.

  2. i'm hoping that all those green particles are pieces of burning wreckage from an enemy he just destroyed

lol, i bought it, i never played the original, (sadly i'm not old enogh, lol) but i've played numerous remakes, and it seems pretty decent, i adore retro games though.
But id say its not worth the price, i can see it coming down in price soon.
It saves your progress every level, so if you quit at level 3, when you come back, you can start at level 3 again.

Oh, and yes, the green squares are the explosion created by killing the enemies.

  4. oh wow

can you please elaborate on the controls

how do you move up/down, side to side and how do you turn around ?

how do you shoot as well ?

sorry for all the questions x_x

Accelerometer handles movement, tilt up/dow to go up/down, and left/right to go left/right.
When you tilt left/right, the ship turns to that direction.
    Tap the screen to shoot.

    No hyperspace?

  8. Wait, so...

He's got the Defender theme going, with Space Invaders aliens and the Viper from the original Battlestar Galactica...

I dunno. Looks a bit amateurish to me. Definitely overpriced.

  9. on second inspection of that screenshot, those are the space invaders aliens

    no dice

I'm surprised there haven't been ports of Defender and Joust. I forget who currently owns the rights to these games...
