Wow, I had once thought up of a convoy mechanic back, but you really made it better. I admit I haven't really been paying attention in a while but now the game looks fun!

Exploring the channels idea again, except that now you can make convoys! The idea is that the dots are buoys, and when you sail a ship into it, it moves extra slowly while in the channel. If you then send another ship with the same coloured cargo into the same channel, it will then link up and form a convoy for more points. A 2 ship convoy gets you double the points you would have gotten separately, a 3 convoy ship gets triple, etc. So send your boats like normal, or go for the extra points by making convoys!

Only catch is that if you send two different coloured boats into the channel they won't link up and you'll be stuck with two slow boats taking up space in the channel until they exit. Also if you send two boats into the channel from opposite ends, they will slowly drift towards each other in the channel and if you do not direct them back out,when they eventually touch they will crash.

The channel will glow the colour of the cargo boat currently in it, so that you can quickly see what nearby colour ship you might need to send in there to make a convoy.

Still deciding whether the connected convoy should travel slowly when you exit clear of the channel, or regain some sort of speed.
