And $1.99? Seems too good to be true. Ryner AJ Active Member Oct 6, 2015 34 0 0 S.E.A - MY #3 Ryner AJ, Apr 28, 2016 Hi anthony78, the exploration is top down + touch to move. Like other top down hack and slash. As for the battle, it's not like infinity blade, it only requires taps. And yes, it's $1.99 for sure. It's a 'pre-battle-mini-map' before battles. As for character growth, there's no skill trees involved. I wanted to keep it simple, so it's just about distributing skill points earned from winning battles, and allocating it based on your play style and strategy/tactics. Im glad this isnt in the same gameplay formula. That said, would love to see some gameplay imps on this one as this looks real badass. Between the battles you're exploring the islands for loot. When you die you start over a bit stronger like in Infinity Blade. The combat is a mix between semi turn-based combat and tapping. This means you and the enemy have 3 decisions to make each round, you can block, attack or drink a potion to heal. Sometimes you have the option to counter attacks, that seems random. When you're attacking you have to tap the screen asap to maximize the damage. TBH I don't really like this kind of combat, I prefer a more direct approach. The game sure is gorgeous, although the textures take a bit too long to load. When you die do you start all over from the beginning or do you keep the experience you have gained so far? predator8u Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2013 94 0 0 #15 predator8u, Apr 28, 2016 I like the idea of a top down ARPG that when combat begins it turns into a quicker more brutal infinity blade type system. Game looks great but the combat sounds questionably simple, also the lack of in depth RPG elements also saddens me. I'll probably still purchase. It doesn't do anything to encourage someone to download it. Look at some top games to get an idea.
