screw what they say, the iPhone 4 has a build quality no other phone will ever have. I'm satisfied with 3G and don't care about 4G, so therefor I'll buy this :D

Though it may be worth noting that I've read that Verizon's "3G" is not as fast as AT&Ts. Of course if you don't have coverage in an area (I don't at work), this is of little significance there. Also, I have no firsthand comparison experience to offer.

A 1GHz processor is great enough for gaming and a 960x640 resolution screen as of right now can't be topped

So there could be a iPhone 5 for AT&T and Verizon in a couple months?

    I guess I should wait from pre-ordering the iPhone 4 Feb. 3rd?? I would much prefer a iPhone 5 over an iPhone 4 :/

Hmm I think that the new iphones will be first avaliable to at&t. It only seems right verizon wouldn't pay all this money for a contract to sell them if there would be a new in like 4 months. maybe at&t will get them in June and July and Verizon in Febuary

well no one knows how big of a gap there will be between release dates for a new iphone model for att and verizon, but I imagine it won't be very long. this announcement was just for a new carrier not a whole new model, it wouldn't make sense for them to wait until next jan/feb for a new verizon phone

I agree and I'm not even planning to switch. If nothing else, it might add a little price competition and reduce some of the load on AT&T's network. Plus, more iOS users leads to more incentive for devs to develop more games.

I... don't... know... what to think xDD

I mean, I have Verizon but I'm just going to stick to my iPod Touch for music and gaming, while I have a separate phone.
