    New trailer:

Keep in mind that the video was made for Steam Greenlight.
The iOS version will be identical (+ the on-screen controller).

Based on the video, I think you've done a good job catching the mood of retro games like Mega Man, etc. My only worry is that there's plenty of pixel graphic platformers out there. How do you plan to distinguish your game on the crowded market?

Looks wicked! I am not a developer, but I love these sorts of twitch platformers like super splatform and kid tripp. There is a severe lacking of them on iOS. Yes there's plenty of regular platformers, but high difficulty ones, which this appears to be, is quite low.. They provide much more addictiveness and longer playing time. Looking forward to its release!

You should port this for NES.

Looks great! Seems to be very authentic in the presentation; not every retro-styled game takes the time or care to make sure all the details are right.

That would be an awful lot of work for very little (monetary) reward :)

The control system is absolutely amazing with kid tripp.. Often these sorts of games get some hate because of precise button location which causes deaths and rage, especially on those twitchy platformer games.. Both super splatform and kid tripp combatted this excellently with great controls.

Kid tripp controls- auto runs forward, so no acellerate button needed, instead tapping the left side of the screen jumps, and tapping the right side shoots, but if you hold down the right side, it'd also make you run.
Felt perfect and I completed the game at 100%, which is an odd thing for me! since I usually get bored after one sit down.

Splatform controls- this is common controls for many games, but still great, tap bottom right hand side to go right, and bottom of left to go left, and simply tap anywhere above to jump. If there is to be a shoot button, I'm sure right top for jump, and left top for shoot would work perfectly.

Controls really are everything in a twitch platformer.
Especially on tiny screens such as iPad.. Ultimately, the control buttons should be completely transparent, and have a large range..
I hope you all take this into consideration for the benefit of ease for players! Really looking forward to this awesome work of art.
Truly does look like something that belongs of NES.

Looking at the screens, It seems like the A and B buttons would be a bit too far apart on an iPad.

    Just my 2ยข

Of course, I know it's very early, so I'm sure you guys will address this,

    Anyway, game looks awesome.
I will buy it for sure.
