Maybe a silly question, but what does the Weapon Manager do exactly? I purchases it but I don't notice it doing anything.
/facepalm My bad, I should have read it more carefully. For some reason I didn't realize that was what you were referring to. Ah-durrr! lol thanks for the info none-the-less!
Thank you for the tips. It seems you have have to hit the motorbike boss in the head. I was thinking you had to hit him in the back. So I've got a bit of a pattern and am def making more progress as I get to where he drops oil that traps you.. And then he gets me But it feels possible now..
I've finished off Mr Motorbike Dude. Pyramid level seems very mazeish, the boss in there doesn't seem as hard though (niave)
I finished off the pyramid level yesterday. They keep getting tougher and tougher. Definitely a great retro platformer!
Playing on hard difficulty really makes you master the patterns of the bosses, as each hit takes off only half a life bar - so rewarding after facing them 20 times in a row!
Pyramid finished. I'm not sure what the switch does on that level? I think I'm gonna have to get that extra heart now though. I'm at 2 hours 20 mins playtime, which sucks compared to you lot.
I'm only up to the Volcano stage and while I HAVE died alot it hasn't really been at the boss fights. I guess I can attribute that to my old school retro conditioning. Hehehehehe. Looking forward to Hard Mode!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but this game has mfi support. Works beautifully with my nimbus mfi controller #
Aww. AKD, you're still here. Did you buy an iOS game? # Venture Kid got 3.5'd! The more things change, the more they stay the same?
Still only about halfway through, but the complaint about it being linear in Carter's review is legitimate. What I think old Mega Mans do, that this game doesn't seem to do, is have levels designed around the different weapons... and I think that's probably a big reason for it being linear (to hide this lack of creative level design). I'm not good at Mega Man, and I'm not doing too well with this game either, but I hope to beat it at least on normal mode.
Haha! Yes, yes I did. And I play it on my iPad where it's actually possible for me to get GC working once in a while. I didn't see Carter's review, but his opinion is clearly wrong
A late thanks, but the Dev gave me this info in an earlier post already. And no, for me it's not easier to change the weapon without pause. The 2/3 is too high up for my liking and i make too many mistakes (=wrong weapon chosen). In the end i get more unnecessary hits this way. Especially when i have to juggle through six or more weapons. A clear "each to his own" play style here. I was shocked a bit about the review, but we're all humans, simple as that. Since i never played Megaman, i don't even can compare or see any similarity or whatever.
