I am an officer of the 8th Air force Division of Hope City. Once, Hope City was considered a paradise. However, with abrupt climate fluctuations and an inundation of radioactivity waste some months ago, mutants began to appear. Because those affected sought refuge deep in the mountains until their mutations took full form, Hope City was unable to implement effective countermeasures... and the threat grew. Mutations were appeared from invisible light of Zaparay. These mutants proved to be as powerful as they are repulsive, and their incredible spawning capabilities soon resulted in swarms of the fiends assailing urban areas. We attempted to drive them back, but they overwhelmed our defenses. It has now been fifteen days since war with the mutants broke out, and our forces have been all but annihilated.
