I only got in 30 minutes so far but it looks darn good playing on a large iPad Pro. Definitely has that Vampires Fall:Origins feel to it. There are some iap’s which are an ingame currency. I have not reached a part yet in the game where they are referenced to so I don’t know yet whether they are just for cosmetic items or actual give your characters stat benefits. Note also that the game has a “coming soon” status on Steam, so you might be able to transfer saves in the future. I should also mention that the game has a bit of swearing that can be rather crude at times, if that is of a concern. gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 42 28 #4 gmattergames, Feb 25, 2023 Last edited: Feb 27, 2023 This is a lot like Vampire Fall Origin, which was great but with multi-character party-based combat. Comparatively, Vendir is far less forgiving. Difficulty scales much faster than the rewards needed to survive. You end up spending majority of coin on healing costs. It’s not uncommon to have entire party wiped out … near the starting area. Saw a review on the App Store where dev said a patch is in progress to address difficulty. May take another look after that is released. Edit: gave this another go. A few key learnings … don’t spend coin to heal until you’re really well established, save cash for gear. Early on, craft bread to cover healing/recovery. Unlock healing skills or wait for 3rd char (mage) and time them to limit post-combat recovery cost. Early game, don’t stray too far from current quest destinations. Don’t neglect Endurance, keeps you from being encumbered and losing combat actions. Last thing, If it’s clearly an impossible fight, flee early. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
