Read the thread, game is on hold while devs are awaiting word from Apple regarding Unity development on iPhone 4. Hopefully Veggie Samurai sells in the meantime to feed bellies in the meantime.
Looks like a poor mans Fruit Ninja rip off, can't see many buying this one, framerate and animations look poor in the videos too, not silky smooth like fruit ninja. I bet halfbrick are flattered, they have no need to worry as Fruit Ninja is an amazing game.
+1 to that. This has probably been brought up but, since when does cutting up vegetables produce juices >__>

i would get the game on ipod touch when it comes out to see which is better, but the fact of the matter is i'm not keen on spedning my money on a copycat game. well, i guess we'll have to see.
Pretty much took the words out of my mouth. I'm not saying that Veggie Samurai is going to be a bad game I'm just saying that as a fan of Fruit Ninja this just bears too much of a resemblance. If I was a developer I would be ashamed to release a game that was such a blatant rip off of one of the current top 5 games. I wish you luck buy you won't get a cent from me, I'll be busy slicing fruit.
It actually looks kind of good, and I'll try it, but I think I'll stick to Fruit Ninja even if Veggie Samurai is better just because FN was the original.
There’s a Wii Resort game that has a slice game with an oriental theme and all. I guess that’s the original inspiration of those games. My twins love the Veggie Samurai because they’re enjoying the iPad even more. Yes I don’t have an iPad anymore!
