The following is a 120K+ point game in Insane mode. Being #1 globally @ 155k motivated me to make a higher quality video in which the itouch screen is not moving out of view. It came out very dark (please turn up brightness and/or watch in the dark), but at least this time my thumbs are visible, allowing you to see how I'm actually playing. If there is demand for a higher quality video and/or higher scoring game, I would consider reposting at a higher brightness (i.e. adjusting brightness within iMovie screwed up the colors too much, so I had it revert back to the original) and/or exporting in a different format. For what it's worth (again, please up brightness and view in dim light):

thanks for checking it out. Inthe time since the previous post, I uploaded a 126k Insane mode game at a much better quality. Also, the first life is lost @106k (around the 5:40 mark), making that session a little more epic. Does anyone have any info from the dev regarding upcoming updates (multiplayer, Bluetooth, etc.)?
Ah yeah, thanks for the better quality upload, it looks way better. It really gets nuts after about 5 minutes in I am slowly getting better at the game, although I still kind of suck. Working on it though, and it's always fun regardless.
Anyone had any luck getting this running under iOS4? On an iPhone 3GS, it seems to crash right after it starts displaying the intro screen for me. Vector Tanks (Classic) seems to work fine though.
It ran fine on OS 3.13 about a week ago, but started crashing shortly after vectortanks.com (score page accessed by the app) disappeared, which probably has something to do with it.
Yup, that's the key right there. If I switch my iPhone to airplane mode the app runs without a hitch. Thanks for the tip. Wonder what's going on with vectortanks.com though? I hope it's still getting support. This is one of my favorite iPhone games.
The world's best action arcade game just got full iPhone 4 support. Hell, yeah! So, so, so cool. Edit: but the icon could also use some retina shine

Love this game. Highly polished. The sound design is excellent, including the voice over. I grew up with Battlezone in the arcades, and this is a super-improved, maxed-out, highly-polished, super-fun, ultimate Battlezone. Lots of game modes add variety to the gameplay. Looks and plays great on the iPad with the Universal update. One of the best in the AppStore.

Since I updated to 4.x, and with the new update the game seems to be in slow motion when I'm playing. Anyone else having this problem?
Well, but it appears your device and iOS are different than mine, or are you running 4.1? Still, it seems you are using at least a 3rd gen. device. I'd rather not reinstall and lose all my scores until I know for sure it's not a common problem.
