If you have a MFI controller, the control is good enough to play for a long time, just like FPS games on consoles these days. Maybe the control is good in iPhone 7/8? because their website’s screenshots are shown in an iPhone 7/8. To everyone reading, DO NOT PICK THIS UP. 1) It's unplayable without a controller - the right joystick is way too responsive and they shouldnt even be joysticks - you should be able to tap anywhere on the screen (like how Modern Combat or any decent iOS FPS does it) 2) If you tap out of app for ANY reason, phone call, even lock screen, the app crashes and you lose all progress. No, the first version doesn’t optimize for the iPhone X yet, and I would not recommend to get the game right now if you don’t have a MFI controller, the touch control is broken in my iPhone X, and I encountered some drop down serious bugs that I need to restart the episode to play.
