Because I’ve never found the time to play that game but I want to play this still, does it rely on knowledge of the first game? I started playing even though I never finished the first time. But I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. Plus there’s a lot of exposition in the form of notes, items etc. in the game. So you can always read them to get extra context. But you’re in an even worse situation if you played Bayonetta 1 on PlayStation or Xbox and don’t own a Switch — you literally wouldn’t be able to play the sequels. But the point is that, without Netflix, this game would likely not exist at all.
