Lane Adagio is actually pretty viable, as long as the player uses his abilities correctly and has a good, self sustaining build rather than buying support/utility items. But I know how you feel, most bad/new players using Adagio literally know nothing about him or his abilities and are most likely too ignorant to do research on them. I've seen Adagio players use a raw ultimate without slowing enemies with his heal first. Pretty gross.
there are a few situations where you can use a raw adagio ult. Sometimes they use it to keep enemies back for an ally to escape.

Some people are clueless when it comes to deciding on which heroes to ban. I gave thumbs down to Joule and Reim. Other teammate gives thumbs down to Petal. My teammates were in same guild so of course the guy goes with Petal cuz that's who his guildie gave thumbs down to. Been playing this game almost everyday for 4-5 months and you rarely see people pick Petal. And of course members on opposing team choose both the heroes I gave thumbs down to. And of course Reim and Joule wrecked our shit.
I see, sounds like some serious bugs they need to address with Draft! But it also sounds like they're doing so. Ranks and matchmaking seem crazier than normal lately too; I'v seen rank 6 people who have no idea what's going on. While I'm stuck in rank 2 facing landslide losses, after previously being rank 5. On the bright side, Battle Royale is pretty fun! And you can do 1v1 (Aces galore) or 2v2 if you can't round up the full 6.
Just wanted to add my experience to this. I'm currently rank 2 gold (last season my best was rank 4 silver - I'm a noob I know ) and over the last few days I've been matched up with people rank 6, 8 and 9. It was extremely surprising to get a friend request after a match and see "Pinnacle of Awesome" under their name
Yeah the matchmaking is all screwed up. I was POA silver last season and was paired again 2 tier 5 people and a hotness
Seems like the TA guild is on the fritz. Every time I'm on I ask people if they want to do a guild match. Either they say no they are busy or don't have time (which is ok) or they don't respond at all. Just seems like the whole point of being in a guild is to play with the same people and learn how each plays and which roles/heroes they like to play. If people aren't willing to play together then there is no point in being in a guild. At this point the guild is rank 7 and the way it's gone so far this season it won't hit rank 10. Seriously thinking about quitting the guild and going solo. I want to play with the people in the guild but if no one wants to play together then it's a waste. Just my 2 cents
If I was on more, I'd probably take you up on it, but I'm not even to Ranked yet, so most of the time I see people on and yoloqueue in casual so I won't drag them down
Same hererarely get a response from guild members currently. The list probably needs to be trimmed. There are some very active members, but I never seem to see them on at the same time I am! This could simply be bad luck and a slow week. In any case, I'm not in a hurry to leave--Solo Queue is a nightmare!
If you see me on send me an invite. I'll play casual for sure. And I've only been playing since December so I'm not great either. Got into tier 6 last season and am currently in tier 4 this season. Trying to make the push into tier 5 but it seems like I'll get one good group and then one incompetent group. It's funny because in a good group I always do well but in a bad group I'm horrible. But I need my carries in order to be effective since I play Fortress roam 90% of the time. Just got Fortress' tier 2 skin tonight. Haven't used it yet because I'm charging my iPad while I get my daughter ready for bed. Pumped to see it in action.
