I'll look for you in-game if I get the chance. I don't have a lot of time to play today during work hours, but it would be nice to get in my Third Win before the 7PM EST deadline!

Guild is now about Level 17.5 or higher...

 

Cool, I usually play during the day (8am-5pm GMT) at work when I get downtime. But that's pretty sporadic and not consistent but days like today I will be playing a lot as well.

After work though I definitely don't mind planning stuff or getting in when possible. Hit me up on here or in game :3

 

Saw you guys were on while I was making chili and picking up my daughter from school. Played 5 games today and am 4-1. Been using Kestrel all day. Hope to play at least another 2-3 games this evening.

 

Honestly some people have no patience when it comes to last hitting Kraken. Just had a match with some idiot playing Kestrel who could've used her ultimate to last hit, but instead chooses to charge in by himself like a jackass. Then to top it all off he proceeds to blame me for everything. I should take a break from this game for about a week or two.

 

A lot of it is just dumb luck with who you get grouped up with. Was in a match yesterday playing as Fortress.The other two people were Ringo and Krul so I thought we had a decent team. Match starts and all 3 of us go into the jungle. After a few kills I went up to the lane as obviously 3 in the jungle in not a good strategy. Ringo kept getting killed and going right back to the jungle. Krul got fed up with Ringo not playing his role so he went afk. We surrendered the match and I down voted both of them.

 

For some reason, I was kicked from the guild. Did I do something wrong guys?

And for anyone who doesn't reach full Member status by the looming season end, that doesn't reset: your progress still counts and when you reach 10 matches, you'll be ready for the next end-of-season rewards.

Looks like we're 1–2 matches away from Level 20. I'll hop on today periodically.

Yes!

And ranks are about to reset to zero, which means in theory we ought to be able to team up together in combinations where our ranks used to be too far apart.

PS Take that minion mine! With the new patch, it no longer messes up the laner to do so.

 

Picked the game up this week, joined the guild. Great experience. I've never played a MOBA with an easier going group of folks.
I suppose I missed out on the big payoff, but I'll definitely be there next season.

 

You're pretty far advanced for only a week in! Do other MOBAs have an equivalent to Ironguard and minion miners? (I know they have last-hitting and something like scout traps.)

 

Only 10 more hours of maintenance (at least 10) .-.

 

Lame huh? Was looking forward to checking everything out. Guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

 

Not as far as I know, but I found a few tutorials on YouTube. If you separate the roles into discrete parts, it's actually pretty straightforward.

Learning to build and counter-build, though. That's going to take some practice.

 

I can (and have) done all the "book learnin'" in the world, but when it comes down to using that knowledge correctly and instantly, I require long months of practice. I'd do much better on a Vainglory written exam than I do in Vainglory itself. But I do improve

And as I'd hoped, that 10-hour downtime estimate looks like a case of "under promise, over deliver" (unlike other recent updates). Now they're estimating only another 30-90 minutes.

 

So I've been taking it right away anyway... sorry guys had no idea I've been feeding the enemy lane this whole time.

On another note, would it be ok if we removed everyone with 0 guild XP from the guild at the start of this season? I'm all about including everyone, but if they're in the guild and just aren't playing any games then they're kinda preventing us from potentially getting some nice bonuses when X% of the team has played recently. And there'd be no consequences if they just joined in again later if they want to play
