Watch YouTube/Twitch/MobCrush and check out different hero play styles to see what grabs you. And consider getting a jungler and a support now that you own a laner. That way you can fill any of the 3 important roles with a hero you know well, regardless of the free rotation. And you'll be earning Glory well before you know it, so bide your time spending your ICE.
Anyone who is in the TA guild (or wants to join); try to reach 10 guild matches played before Jan 13, to get the season-end Glory reward. If not, there's always next season! A guild match is any match with at least one guild teammate--win or lose, casual or ranked. (10 matches is equivalent to around 85 fame XP, although that varies a lot. You'll know you reached 10 when your guild status changes from Initiate to Member.) And don't forget, this weekend and next have Double Glory! And for New Years there's another card-earning event.
FYI: 24-hour card event starts now. Guaranteed rare or better card for every win up to 8. (PS: I'm predicting 2000 Glory reward for the TA guild on the 13th. Might only be 1000 but I'm optimistic. So friend me and join up, and get your 10 matches in by the season deadline! And next season, let's earn some ICE as well!)
I don't recall any word of anything newer than Blackfeather. I'd be happy to NOT have to learn/counter so many new heroes (just imagine being new and having to learn them all at once) and have SEMC focus on polishing up the ones they have, and tweaking solo queue.
Actually, I believe Kestrel is the newest hero. She really needs to get nerfed imho. My opponents practically melt when I get two sorrowblades with her.
The new Hero is called REIM.. he is kind of a melee mage as far as i know. the next update will drop at season end -> 13th january. update will include: Reim, skaarf t3 skin, winter/ snow map skin , and probably a glaive skin (t3 or seasonal) and maybe catherine seasonal skin

I would love to contribute, but I'm still stuck at level 6 (multiple stupid losses in a row is somewhat demoralizing, so I haven't touched it in a couple of weeks).
Personal levels are different from guild levels, andjust speaking for myselfnewcomers just starting the learning curve are welcome! I see all different skill levels in the roster already. I cannot recommend playing Ranked to anyone, but Casual is more fair; a string of losses is likely to even out with some wins! You'd just need to play 10 guild matches by the 13th to earn the extra Glorybut even if you didn't manage that, you'd be on your way towards reaching your 10 in plenty of time for NEXT season's rewards (ICE, maybe?)
I somehow got invited to a lvl 50 guild, but there's so few active players that I can't get anyone to complete the 10 matches with me. If I can't get that by the end of the season, I'd love to join the TA one if spots are open. I usually play twice a day at least with more on weekends.

Welcome! Best way to find a guild match: when you go to play, check your friends list first for guild mates; and give it a few minutes if you don't see any, before you go solo.

Thank you! Yeah I'm familiar with the grouping and guild mechanics but every time I get on either no one is on, or you guys are already in matches I'll hit one of you up in game. This game is really fun for a mobile MOBA.
