Although you would think anyone that can afford him would have a fair bit of game time in and know what to do. But as you said I'm sure in time they will learn, im going to try him in the protector role rather than trying to be a warrior and just buff myself.

But each team might have one then it'll make it fair.

Waiting to see when I play him who his weaknesses are, any idea who's good at taking him down yet?

No!!! He seems overpowered. Any team I've played against with him on it I've lost. I'm starting to hate him #

So far Ardan seems decent if played properly. Personally I still prefer Adaigo as a protector but he sure can change battles. But to use his utility to full extent as per the real recommended items and not taka's ones they put into the game. I feel his damage output vs players is very low on those builds but your there just to hopefully soak up damage and protect your damage dealers.

Having a lot of fun and great scores with Ringo lately, I keep going back to him every now and then and remembering how great he is.

A team with no support is going to have a tough time against a team with great support. I've found him to be, if anything, less decisive compared to Cath or Adagio, maybe just because people don't know how to use him yet.

IMO Cath's still better. Ardan's ult is sick, and I still haven't come to grips with all its implications, but Cath's got the best stun in the game, and even though she can't share her shield, it blocks and deals more damage. Ardan's more vulnerable to focus fire than Cath is, but his mobility makes him hard to pin down.

Managed to solo queue my way to Simply Amazing this weekend, somehow. I think the matchmaking tweaks really are making the teams more balanced.

Playing Ardan is the most fun I have had in VG so far. Just a total blast. Saving a teammate at the last minute or throwing the cage around Taka is just insanely fun.

I think he is balanced well. I am no expert with him, but I have won and lost pretty evenly.

I had moments like that too saving allies from certain death and stopping enemies from fleeing he's pretty awesome with the right team and will definitely try him more. But personally I feel I perform much better with Adaigo him Ringo and Taka are my main choices right now.

Ardan is a hard counter to Taka. His abilities total put a stop to Taka. The new buffed Skaarf on the other hand... ouch.

I like saving teammates with Crucible. While making the enemy waste an ultimate! (Ringo fireball, Joule stomp, etc.)

And when fighting a Kraken as Petal, I try to move on top of an ally and spam Seeds to preserve both our health.

Oh man, they do a silent update with new heroes, item balance and new ping options. Anyway, just have my first game against Celeste and she owned me so bad. I really think at the moment she is a little bit OP.

Got to farm the last 1500 glory to unlock her after work. Busy, busy, busy.

And improved Koshka with cheaper abilities. (I never had any complaints about the old Koshka, though.)

Not feeling Celest. She's only as good as her team. Maybe I'm just inexperienced, but I can't carry a team with her. Any suggestions on a solid build? I know she's mainly crystal powered... but I can't seem to deal enough damage or stay alive long enough to really be an asset to the team.

    *** update

I got a handle on her now. I'm enjoying her now that I understand her.

Koshka gets weak at high skill tiers where the enemy groups together and knows to focus her. She's also weak in the late game, though perhaps mostly because crystal lacked a good pierce option until now. Also, she probably has the weakest ult in the game, even after this patch (Fun Fact: Twirly Death actually enjoys better crystal scaling than Catnip Frenzy, not even factoring the AoE).

She might be balanced for the late game now, but I honestly don't know because the fight is over by then. She can spam A and B relentlessly and maintain her heroic perk, making her more deadly, tougher, and more mobile. She can steal creeps from the enemy jungle with impunity, bugging out if the enemy comes in force or burning down a single hero. The result is starved and underleveled enemy junglers who are easy prey for a Koshka that's 3 levels up on them.

Also, every game for the next week will have a Celeste and Koshka can pretty much bite her head off any time she wants.

I bounce between Amazing and Hotness, depending on whether I'm challenging myself to learn a weakish hero (like Joule) or playing an awesome character that I know well (like Cath).

Pretty sure I've seen you around the Halcyon.

    Thanks! Good info to know.

I never max Koshka's Ultimate. The other two abilities with Aftershock are just brutal massive damage, so I go with those. And of course try to max my Twirly stacks by catching as many targets at once as possible.

(I always found Koshka good late-game in ONE way: she could take out an unguarded turret in seconds. Although I suppose any hero probably can by that point.)

P.S. Miner-steals and kraken steals with Koshka are hilarious. I may or may not run fast enough to get away alive, but we get the capture. It's especially funny when I'm almost dead and they think they've chased me away, but I haven't really run off.

    Cool!

I have mixed feelings: will we be open to cheaters in new ways, due to Android's security design? And will this stretch the developer thinner, with too little return on investment?

But mostly, I'm just glad to have Android contributing to a larger player base. That helps ANY multiplayer game.

Don't forget, 5 more hours of Double Glory left!

(Never seems to apply to Sinister Seven, but every other reward gets doubled.)
