To my memory and I'm unsure if it's still the same to post a pic add the attachment first when you go to make a post and add the writing in after you attach the pic. I remember I use to have problems when I did things the other way around. There's a fair few improvements the TA app could use sadly which is funny considering they rate other people's apps.
It means that it will be stronger based off of 10% of your crystal power and 100% of your weapon power is my understanding. Generally most just have either weapon or crystal ratio so whichever it has either weapon power or crystal will improve the ability.
That's not answering my question. Even I know this... Where is this 10% and 100% coming from? The total attack of weapon or crystal; or just from the researched skill? So 100% weapon power means it would double my weapon power?
Good question. I THINK it means an ability does additional damage equal to that % of your current weapon and/or crystal power. Otherwise, I assume an ability does a fixed amount of damage based on how many ability points you have spent to upgrade it. (Tables with details are in the Academy.) Is that right?
The first sentence answerd what you asked but sorry if I didn't make it clear. Basically say you have 150 weapon power from your purchased items and you have an ability that says 100% weapon ratio it means your ability will do 150 more damage as you have that much weapon power. So the total crystal power or weapon power you have will then just buff abilities by that percentage, if you have 55 crystal power and the ability gets 10% ratio you'll only get 10% of that 55 as extra damage. Hopefully you see what I mean, basically whatever you have in weapon or crystal power the % of the ratio is a portion of that or the whole thing if 100%. Maybe even more, I'm sure saw had one that was 650% crystal ratio but I haven't checked since the update as he is great but I don't like the lack of mobility.
Any indications as to when the new hero will be out or what it will be? I gave Skaarf a miss after being informed by pros that it has been tested and found lacking at higher levels of play.
Didn't mean to make it sound rude. Sorry man. But this is perfect I'm new to moba games and don't understand these lingo. I saw someone playing taka and he went all weapon build and for an odd reason he used one crystal build that does lifesteal based on crystal damage. IMO he didn't know what he was doing when he should have replaced it with the weapon builds life steal since he would have leeched more health off his weapon power.
If you look closely at tekkenexperts build you can see he's just just scrambled anything together and his opponents must be noob for him to get away with it. But the blue skeleton in his build is pointless compared to the weapon version of life steal. Is this true or something I don't see that he does?
Skarrf is pretty good but you can't play him too aggressively or you'll die, but he's fun to zone with and hang back eating away at health until he's stronger. As for taka builds I'm no expert I haven't checked out builds for heroes I just do what I think works. But taka's abilities both are affected by crystal power so a crystal build must work by increasing the damage and life leech from those abilities rather than weapon power increasing the auto attacks.
Yeah. Just avoid playing Skaarf during the week of Taka being free. Taka is a hard counter to Skaarf and even with a sack full of flares and good teammates it is no fun playing against a Taka that is focusing on you.
Aye I find Taka, koshka and glaive the worst as it's hard to escape them and you can't beat them in a stright 1v1 you have to kite pretty much everyone.
Just downloaded the game, can't wait to try this out. Any recommendations outside of watching the vids in game? Which playing style is best for beginner, jungle or lane? Appreciate any help, practicing on EU servers then back to US next weekend!
How come your practicing on EU then swapping to US? Apart from watching the videos for the tutorial you'll learn as you go. For me personally I prefer playing the jungle as it's more fun and there's more to do, being in the lane can get a bit boring at times but also can have good times. Just play carefully, start off buying recommended items until you learn what's best for you. Always capture the gold mine when you can and call for help first as you'll likely get attacked. My favourite is Krul as with him I can solo the kraken and do many things to help my team win the game, but loads of charachters are fun to play and it's good to have a change mixing it up.
I live in Germany, moving back to the states in a week though. The jungle sounded more fun as I was playing around on solo, probably jump into my first game tonight! I guess the good thing is I have a week to get all my noob play style out of the way of more experience, I feel like everyone online has had so much more time to play. This is my first moba, so have been trying to learn the mechanics before totally jumping in. For anyone on USA or EU servers, are players abandoning games as much as reviews on App Store suggest? Thank you for the reply ste86uk!
Koshka and Ringo are relatively easy to get used to. Start with one of them and get good at that character before branching out. Koshka can jungle the fastest out of any character. Keep her moving through the jungle, taking out the mobs, wait until you have a couple levels on everyone else, and then start helping out by hitting targets that overextend themselves or are low health. Remember, she is an assassin-type so hit-and-run. Don't go toe-to-toe with most characters and be careful about over extending right into turrets. Ringo is a great laner. He can stand back and pick away at minions or characters. His ultimate is when he can finally do some real burst damage. Wait until enemies are quarter health and running, and then send that fireball. It has no range limit, and can only be countered by the right item with the right timing, so usually you hit. The rest of the characters get progressively more difficult to play right, but you should eventually play them all enough to understand them; and pick your favorite.
I'm on the EU and its not really that bad, they do their best to avoid it and it rarely happens for me now. They have said recently they are making more changes to try help. Ringoband Koshka are good fun and as a noob I definitely consider Krul and Taka too. Krul is pretty tanks and powerful and taka might help learn as it's easier to escape if things go bad.
Krul is pretty OP without a good setup. You can use basic setups and smash anyone. I think he's going to get nerfed soon, or something. I was able to destroy the teams krakken and then summon my own, solo #
Aye he is awesome been my favourite since launch, he can easily solo the kraken if your team distract the enemy. I don't think he really needs a nerf though as he can be beaten by certain heroes and setups and of course the enemies working together.
I do not see Krul getting nerfed. He can seem intimidating at lower tiers because players may not know how to deal with him. At higher ranks, Krul is not effective and few serious players use him. I am pasting below the devs response to some old complaints about Krul being OP: "You shouldn't 1v1 Krul. His weakness is facing multiple heroes. He's meant to dominate 1v1s."
