I have a Verizon iphone 4 and when I upgrade I'd like to keep my phone as a back up for gaming and web browsing but i didnt know if you could use a verizon iphone4 as a glorified ipod touch with just using the wifi. Whenever i look online it shows results for at&t and simcards but verizon doesnt use simcards. Anyway thank you for your time.
When you turn on airplane mode, it will turn off wifi, but you can then turn it back on. I just did it with an AT&T 4s, but I'm sure the Verizon 4 will work the same.
