Hey all, Same problem here. Makes sense, I've managed a forum before and I get the logic behind it. Just curious: does the 20 post rule include comments on a thread, or is it only in the creation of new threads? I'd assume it's all of them, otherwise it there'd be way too many threads with no purpose other than to legitimize new accounts. Let me know, as we're also looking to promote a game of ours, and it is a bit unfortunate we can't post links since we're using a new account here on the forums.
I just wanted to post a thread about my new game and find some beta testers. Now the post I created just looks terrible and likely people will assume I can't even post properly. It just makes me look bad.

It doesn't. Most people know about the rule for low post counts and many users have commented on it helps the forum when it comes to spammers.

I'd like to add my voice in saying please, for the love of god add this info to the FAQ. I lost my old account password and could only find this alternate account that I apparently never used. Banged my head against this issue for 30 minutes before happening to Google the right keywords to find this thread.
I've only just found this also, after spending hours trying to get my signature to have usable tidy links in it. Thought I was going mad or something.

That's odd. I hammer spammers every day who have no problem posting links in their first post. So I think that post limit either got removed or somehow no longer works correctly. Do you have an example post? I'd hop on Discord and mention it to someone from staff as well, they should notice that faster than a post in a thread.
