Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I have a quick question.

The laptop that holds my music library and all my apps is broken, so I'm using another computer with itunes that doesnt have any of my songs, apps, etc. If I were to update my Ipod touch (2nd gen) to 3.0, will it mess up my music and apps at all? Because I wouldn't be able to reload the songs/apps if it does.

    Thanks for any help.

Nah, it leaves everything alone. The only thing it changes is the OS. I had the same worries as you. If you want, I can recommend a program to transfer the songs from your iPod for you.

It shouldn't mess up the apps but if you syncd the music and didnt put it on the manual way then it might mess up the music. My friend update on my computer and he had his syncd to his computer and it deleted all his songs.
