Yup! Played it! Cool Spinning Flappy Bird mechanics. If I have something to say about this, it's that it is a hard game! After trying [and failing] several times (at least 50 times, I'd say), my highest score is only 31. The rotating hazards caught me by surprise and I couldn't reach them again after the one time that I made it "that far". Something I didn't like was being taken back to the title screen in order to play again. A "Retry" button right at the Game Over screen would mean less tapping. Maybe add the emoji selection screen next to the "Retry" button in order to unlock new emojis in case a certain amount of coins is earned in the last run. A home button to take the player back to the main screen would be useful for other uses such as accessing settings and credits, but not for trying again. Unlocking emoji is cool. It doesn't add much to the gameplay (at least not the few I've unlocked) and finding an emoji you like is as good as it can be. I'm already liking the second one I unlocked (upper right corner). In short: Hard score chaser. Enjoyable in short bursts, frustrating if played for too long. Controls work well and I wouldn't blame failing in the game to some bug or bad coding... failing is totally the player's fault (at least I haven't found the game not responding). Good work!
Thats some awesome feedback right there. Thanks sebgo. Yes we are aware of the difficulty and even made a disclaimer in the description when it comes out. Basically we wanted this game to be hard. But to be fair, a score of 31 is actually very good for just one day playing. In beta testing we had a much lower average score. And we will definitely look into your suggestion for the Game Over UI. I wasnt aware that this could be taken as an interruption of the game flow. But it also means that gameplay is working pretty good and that you would like to go back faster into the game to play more and more. This is perfect for a casual game like this. So yes, I think this is something we need to fix. Thanks again for your comment, its more than we hoped for.
Well, you kinda encouraged me to play at work and this is the best I could get in a few tries... I wish my average score was around 30s, but I think it doesn't go much higher than 20... because it's really hard and luck and reflexes are key factors for getting that bonus score running...
Thanks for the feedback and the video Seb. It's great to see someone care that much about our game. It's interesting what you said about the controls. In our first beta test we didn't had any tutorial and people got frustrated very fast because they A) didn't understand the controls/mechanic and B) they weren't able to control the 2 characters at the same time. I think the main problem was gravity because you fall so fast that you need to react fast. And if you need to learn at the same time the controls it just doesn't work. In this sense, did the tutorial help you to get 'used' to the gameplay mechanics and the controls? It seems it did, but wanted to ask you anyway to see if you have a specific feedback for this as well (in case you see this message).
Great game Hey guys I have been playing the game for a few days now and I have to say that I think this game is pretty good.. I really like how well done the controllers were designed, it is pretty original to have two characters at the same time, it also makes the game more challenging.. cant wait until the game is live to start competing for the first place on that leaderboard. Cool mechanic I love how this game expands on the one-touch controls we see time and time again. The mechanic looks like it can get really challenging and can't wait to see what the later levels look like.
Tremendous Great game play, interesting and intuitive gameplay, touch controls work very well, it has that must come back and play it better addiction always wanting to put in a personal best score. Keep up the good work be interesting to see what you have coming next.

The guy from Arctic Smash? Installed your game the same day it got featured as best game of the day some months back. Loved it. If you're not him just ignore this comment haha. And yes, regarding the controls, tbh I'd like to apply more gravity to the physics. I always feel that everything is to slow. But then I see others play and they immediately die even with low gravity applied. So not sure what we should do here. But I guess if you guys like it the way it is, it's best to leave it that way. Thanks again for the invasion of comments. You just made my day.

Thanks for your feedback mate. We definitely will be adding challenges. We have big plans for this game but first things first. One thing we want to check is how difficult the game is for players outside the beta testing group. Then we can design the challenges accordingly. What's your score guys?
