Smash Dungeon is a dark and bloody single player arena game that started life as a gauntlet style game but has since morphed in to a more Smash TV type of game. It features procedural levels, upgradable skill sets, multiple boss battles, lots of pickups to enhance your abilities, unlockable charaters and more... Many of the enemies you encounter have different skills sets. Here are a couple in a one on one scenario (which will never happen in game ) Mutant Pig Enemy Spawner The game will be premium (not sure of price yet). Hi All, sorry for the radio silence. Here's a short video of some more gameplay against one of the bosses. Its taking a bit longer than I thought but hopefully the extra time will show. Full ranged characters are planned but I'm thinking this may need to be as part of the first update. The current plan is 3 melee characters on launch, although power ups do provide your character with some ranged abilities. eg launch a flame or ice blast from weapon To give you an idea of what I mean, here's a very early wip showing the flame sword effect.
Looks cool. What are the plans for the aiming system for ranged heroes? Auto-aim or manual? Or one and the other?

For melee heroes with range ability (ie flame sword etc) they will remain single stick with manual + slight assisted aim. For ranged heroes such as archer or wizard, my current thinking is they would be twin stick also with slight aim assist although this will all come out in the testing. I did have an archer hero working like this in an earlier build but I wasnt happy with the animations & movement so I've pulled them for initial released and focused solely on the melee heroes. Melee heroes also have slight aim assist and you can hold down the attack button and direct the combat with the stick to focus on a specific enemy, although this may change based on feedback. One thing you CAN NOT do is just hold the attack button and slaughter everything around you, even with the aim assist you still need to give a direction to attack. @slack8182 Thanks, I'll add you to the list.
