Tiny Story was supposed to be out already for iPad and it isn't. I am wondering if the developer portal being down will delay releases. I am not sure why though because if a game has a set release day shouldn't it just be released? Or did that game just get delayed and I missed the announcement?

Anything that was approved and had a date set prior to six days ago should be fine and still go live. In most cases but there would be some undisclosed security issues that will still prevent some going up. Anything approved prior to six days ago but with no set date inputted but a planned on release from the developer won't be going live until the site goes back up. And anything that was pending approval or close to approval, and preliminarily planned for this week, won't go live. More or less explains it. There would be some other issues that might cause problems but its more of a wait and see at this stage. And meant to say there will be some possibilities and flexibility with those who contact their iTunes connect rep directly but what that entails or can be done will vary case by case.
So Shadowrun Returns is not coming out on the 25th, it turns out they haven't even submitted it yet, so it won't be out for a few weeks still.
Wasn't quite sure what to do with Shadowrun in the opening post, but I think at this point it's impossible for it to be released this month. Stuck it in the August list with an unknown date.
Not at all; despite a couple of confused reports, July 25 was only ever the intended release date for the PC and Mac versions.
Shadowrun Returns and Rymdkapsel were the only two games I was getting this week... Both have been delayed. I'll play Shadowrun Returns on the PC when I can find the time to sit in front of a computer for any length of time and it not be work related, but I was looking forward to having that on my iPad sooner rather than later. So much easier to pick up and play games for me on my iPad then on my PC. No point sticking around here this week... There is absolutely nothing I am interested in coming out tonight! I'll find some time to play Shadowrun Returns on PC when the flip they switch tomorrow I guess...
They posted on their forum that they submitted it early last week sometime, then they come out with the statement that they thought they submitted but actually hadn't. It's understandable why some would assume it was going to have a simultaneous release, and their lack of any info otherwise at all has left many in the dark on with either version. But you are correct in that they seemed to have placed most of their eggs in the PC basket first; it just hasn't been communicated well and when asked they never seemed to answer about specific versions.
Yup this is pretty much what I was talking about...It's pretty much the same thing with the xbone fiasco...poor communication skills... What's really bad about it is the ETA is indefinite... Well those are my thoughts..
The three releases TA previewed already all look pretty good: Sky Tourist, Delta-V, and Riptide. They're all very affordable too.
