Sine Mora!!!Man what a damn teaser... Just incase there's still peeps out-there doubting the shift of our humble gaming platform..You might want to reconsider...As I've said before the craziness is just beginning..
Wow... a thursday without anything to look forward to. At least the 16th has a couple seemingly good games, so the week isnt really a miss. Another plus, is that we have more time for... Wait for it... BACKLOGS!
Lol backlogs! I still have Gloomy hollow, iesabel, dead space, Ravensword , Final Fantasy Tactics and Warhammer Quest to beat since i left them hanging when XCom came out.
Hello, my name is Bool Zero and I too am a game hoarder! So many games I buy and never finish or worse, never start!
Still haven't "beaten" the first Chaos Rings. Have every SE game since then to start, heh. Well, that's just one company. Yay for iOS games.. I've really cut down though. Only grabbed 400 Days and Iesabel so far this week. Deus Ex, Tiny Thief, and Sine Mora will have to wait.
Tiny Thief. Now. Please. My problem on iOS tends to be that I get a chance to play pretty much everything that comes out. With an overflow of games like that I don't really stick to a select few unless they grab me in the first 10 minutes of playing. Half an hour is generally what a game will get and at that point it either gets deleted or stays in my "play more later" pile. Which, of course, often gets kicked back by the new releases and so forth. I've been working on a rating system though, adding a "this is good, but I won't play it" pile which gets a special mention, but is still eventually deleted. The hardest thing to deal with are the long games like XCOM, Final Fantasy, Warhammer Quest, Spiral, Deus Ex, etc. Aka games that require a greater time commitment. Except for KOTOR. I play that all the freaking time.
Yeah, games generally get a 5-10 minute trial period from me. If it was free, maybe 2-3 minutes. It's just that you're often getting a game that takes a few hours to beat for just a dollar or two. There is just no way to give every good game time, especially if you play other systems. Their low cost makes buying everything that looks good hard to resist getting. I'm a StarCraft II addict and play it daily. I also play all the latest well-rated AAA games on the 360. I don't ever bother looking for secrets or 100% finishing any games even on there. The only game I've spent more than 25 hours on was Skyrim. I never played KOTOR when it came out a decade ago, but I'm not planning on getting because.. it takes well over 25 hours to just beat according to every source. A long time ago (2009), I played just about every game I paid for to completion. I even beat the first Zenonia 5 times.. In 2010, I had multiple months where I spent about $150 on games just for the iOS. It's been a never-ending backlog since then. I actually just beat Spider the other day on the iPad. It was TA's 2009 GOTY.. I've been around pretty long, heh. Didn't want to make this post any longer. Anyways, I just get 1-2 games a week at most now. Edit: I haven't played more than 5 minutes of Zenonia 2 to 5, and it's not because they're bad games, lol. Also, if anyone remembers Dinosmash, the stats said that I had played over 500 hours of it after two years or so. I get sucked into any games with competitive mp. Okay, got Tiny Thief. It's been like a year since I've made a post over 50 words. Think I'll another before making more. There was a time when I made these walls of texts for all my posts.
It's already out on the PH appstore, and it could be everywhere now, and im really diggin it. Check out my imps on the app thread if its for you too.
